The room was pretty standard, and a little grubby, but passable for the comparative price. Our room was above a club and very noisy until 4 or so in the morning however. Probably best suited to clubbers!

Scrupulously clean, good facilities and friendly and helpful staff. Represented good value for money and I would be very likely to use this hotel again when I next visit Sydney. The location was easily accessible and is well served by several local train stations - Museum and Central- and there were very well stocked shops nearby to pick up any...

Sydney is expensive. There is no getting away from it. However, you will pay between $150-$300/night at this Ibis and in any other city it wouldn't be worth it. The Ibis is in a great location. You can walk to Darling Harbour, George Street shopping, and if your legs are up for it, to Newtown and to Circular Quay. We...

I had two nights here during March 2013 on business, and it was my second stay in twelve months. The Ibis World Square is basic, but well located, clean and the staff are helpful and friendly. I'd certainly stay again.

There's no fresh air, because you cannot open the windows. The bathroom was not very clean and I found hair on the carpet so they didn't clean the room very well. Also a lot of dust in the air conditioning system.

Hi, Thank you for your review. It is unfortunate we can not open the windows, it is a city regulation of the Hotel and its location. I am very sorry the AC was dirty, we have a maintenance program that continues all year. It is unfortunate this has occured.

I would not stay here again. location was good for my meetings but overall hotel is below average. Bed was good but noise and lights from ground floor hotel bar made it difficult to sleep. Shower was only sometimes hot then cold. The hotel air conditioning was on the blink and foyer smelt like a toilet. Don't bring your car...

Hi, Thank yoU for your kind review on our staff member. City parking is very hard to find and we recommend taking the train as we are located 5 minutes from Central, Town Hall and Musem station.

Stayed at this Ibis as most other Hotels in the city were booked at short notice. Definitely not my first choice for a business stay, but staff were helpful and the modest room was clean. Location was ok with plenty of nice asian restaurants nearby but good luck finding one that takes AMEX! Overall, average.

World Square Ibis is a well located fantastic stay in the city. Monorail, buses, trains all within a block there is nothing more required to stay and get around the city. Shopping across the road, Entertainment Centre, Town Hall and China Town all just minutes away. This is a clean and convenient city location.

Good location, disgusting hotel. From the front desk to the room horrible, dirty, grubby, over priced, mould in bathroom no handtowels towels threadbare. All in all a very bad experience thankfully only for 1 night at $237 with breakfast that was also disgusting. Sorry have seen better 1 star hotels in Bali.
