All was perfect. The location, the service (early check-in), the breakfast, just some renovation work ongoing, inside and outside the hotel, so the access was difficult (and it took a long time until the taxi arrived) and you may want to watch out for promotions

A modern, comfortable hotel excellently situated for the tourist visitor, being just around the corner from Circular Quay and the Rocks. The staff are helpful and friendly - when I misplaced my mobile phone, the concierge left no stone unturned to help me find it - successfully. My room was well equipped, comfortable, clean and quiet and the outside pool,...

We stayed 12 nights over a period 3 weeks. Excellent hotel. Staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms and public area are very clean and tidy. Hotel is very close to the Sydney Circular Quay.

Ended up getting engaged on our last night here and was given a bottle of champagne from the reception staff to celebrate. After having issue with my airline, the concierge staff could not have been more helpful. Lovely rooftop pool and loved our king size bed. Close to circular quay and easy walk into the city.

I was in Sydney just a couple of nights. At this hotel everything I was wanted was in my doorstep: bridge, ferries, opera house, botanic gardens. I did not find the construction on the road in front in any way difficult.

Stayed one night post-cruise. For this purpose the location can't be bettered, we literally walked out of the hotel and straight to cruise ship - effortless! Staff were extremely attentive, our room was ready when we arrived early morning after a long flight from UK which was very useful. Room was smaller than expected and a little dated and 'worn',...

We stayed here a few days on the front end of a tour of Sydney and New Zealand's South Island and they absolutely set the bar for hotel stays. The service is above and beyond, the lobby is decadent, the rooms are beautiful. They didn't have a full harbor view available for our entire stay so we upgraded to a...

Stayed here in late December 2016 and early January 2017. A bit below average for a Four Seasons. Similar to other major chains. Hotel rooms relatively small and need some updating. Restaurant good, but not great. Staff very attentive. Location is great with easy walking access to the harbor and the Rocks.

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
