As Accor members We choose the Pullman Hyde park to stay in for out recent trip. The view from our room was nice and the room was a decent size. The beds are no where near as comfy as the Melbourne Pullman, however the facilities were still nice and staff were welcoming and helpful. Always a bonus getting the Accor...

I'm lucky enough to stay a Accor properties all around the world and the Pullman brand is a brand i get to stay at a lot both personally and professionally. I dont think this hotel is to the same standards as many of the Pullmans around the world and indeed is below Brisbane in terms of quality of rooms and...

Spent 5 nights in the Pullman Hyde Park during Mardis Gras 2016 and can't say enough positive things about this hotel and the staff. The property itself is very nice, modern, great views of Hyde Park, roof, pretty nice gym and well located within the city. The staff truly make it an enjoyable place to stay. From the moment we...

Dear Matthew C Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay at The Pullman Sydney Hyde Park during the Mardi Gras period. I too agree it was such a wonderful atmosphere and both the staff and I really enjoyed looking after all our guest during such a wonderful event. Thank you for your comments regarding Leanne...

I was there 2 weekends in a row and I have to say that this hotel id great! Rooms ate spacious and nice, you have a pool, sauna, jacuzzi on the 23rd floor with nice views. Breakfast is average, but you find all basic food. Location is ideal, 15 minutes from everything. The price is a bit high but i...

Easy access from airport via train alighting Museum station then only 5 mins walk to hotel. Room was good size, very comfortable with views across city and distant harbour view. Staff were helpful and provided good service for my 3 night stay. Wi fi in room good speed. Will definitely stay again when in Sydney.

We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay for our weekend away together as a couple. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is great. A short walk to the train, shopping and a bit of a longer stride down to The Rocks. Good value for money too, especially with the access to the executive lounge and breakfast...

Good value among the expensive hotels in CBD. Just had to walk across Hyde Park, which's safe even in the evening. Hotel's basic, but bed's comfortable. Front staff could do with some smile, no help from Concierge at all. Housekeeping's quality valued, on some days, they remembered to replenish amenities, on some days, they didn't. Amenities're basic, no supply of...

I first stayed at this property with my parents about 25 years ago when it flew under the Marriott flag. The renovation of the common areas is top notch, funky and contemporary. The room itself was comfy and well appointed. The swivel tub chairs were great for sitting and admiring the park view - but be careful, mine was like...

This hotel falls well short of being a five star, especially in terms of service. Very nickel and dime, without even a quality service level once you've paid. The good: - Good location, right next to some really interesting and fun areas and not a bad walk to the main business district. - Breakfast was pretty good. Not five star,...

Staying in Darlinghurst

Neighbourhood Profile
Darlinghurst
Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.
