The stay and location was great, however not being able to close the window in the room did not impress me. The noise came through and kept us awake. and the noise from the rooms off this on the window side was annoying especially at 7.30 am.

I've stayed at this hotel before I'm 2013. I had a great time then and the hotel was recently refurbished. Nowadays, the hotel is looking a little bit worn out. The small double rooms are tiny but the other rooms are a decen size. You can't beat the location of this hotel. It's a great spot for exploring Sydney and...

Very well located easy access to all Sydney attractions Internet is free but available only for a very limited amount of data Rooms are new and clean. Beds are comfortable. Avoid the rooms in the back due to the noise in the morning.

The Bayswater Sydney is located conveniently beside the Coles Supermarket and just a 2-3min walk to the Kingscross Station. There are lots of eateries in the vicinity and I would highly recommend the Friggitoria (Italian food place selling really affordable and delicious pastas) when you are looking for food around that area. It might get a little noisy at night...

This is a great little hotel tucked away on Bayswater Rd, the rooms are clean and nicely decorated and it represents great value for money. Very comfortable beds and is close to everything - staff are very friendly. The lift is a little slow so we didn't mind taking the stairs.

Close to the train station, restaurants and a supermarket. Gym access provided to fully equipped gym around the corner. Room was surprisingly quiet (second floor) and decent size. Bathroom was ok, but could do with some minor renovations (shower seals, cracked tiles etc). Staff were friendly. I would stay again.

An ideal Hotel with easy access to central Sydney ... great staff - helpful bit unobtrusive. Spacious, clean room with fresh towels and crisp bed daily. Can hear street noise at night ... but hey, you're in the heart of a great young vibrant city !!! Would definitely recommend and shall be happy to stay again next time I'm in...

The hotel room is average. But the location of the hotel is fantastic. Many eatery cafe nearby and near to public transport. Thus it ease off your mind when you want to travel to other location in public transport. Sydney has one of the best public transport.

Staying in Kings Cross

Neighbourhood Profile
Kings Cross
Changing liquor laws are remodeling "The Cross," Sydney's red light district. These new rules have encouraged trendy cafes and boutiques to pop-up in the area, as well as organic markets on Saturdays. The area's nightclubs are still popular with youngsters, however, who will dance to the early morning hours on weekend nights. There are plenty of artifacts from Kings Cross' shady past when gangsters and liquor houses owned the place. Today, one can still find a variety of adult entertainment venues in this evolving area.
