This was a hotel both my daughter and I chose as it was close proximity to Casino wharf where our cruise left from. The rooms were spacious and clean and tidy however could do with some renovation works. The reception area was at the bar but they were very obliging and courteous. Their continental breakfast was very poor - I... More

Our interstate friends wanted a good meal after a day of sight seeing, so 6 of us went to the Kirk. Every one enjoyed their meals. Two had steaks and the others had the schnitzel with various sauces. The portions are good and it does not break the bank. Dennis, the manager, always make you welcome and, if you like... More

We had an overnight stay after a attending a party in the function room. Clean rooms - I prefer the ones with their own ensuite as there are shared bathrooms available. Very cheap rates. Wonderfully close to Darling Harbour, casino, fish markets (maximum 10 minute walk). The food is not your usual pub food - it's so much better with... More

We went here in the early evening and enjoyed the laid back ambiance. They have an array of tap beers which is amazing. Food is good too. Best place to be at on a lazy afternoon! The happy hours start from 4 pm onwards

I was looking around for a place that was wheelchair accessible and came across the Dunkirk. The manager was really nice gave us the options he had at such short notice. The staff were friendly and nice, very professional and made the night run smoothly. Will definitely come back again and recommend it for sure

We spent two nights at the hotel with two other couples - ten minute walk to Darling Harbour and 20 to the Rocks. Great little Pub with plenty of character and friendly staff - meals were great and reasonable The rooms were basic but comfortable and clean , we had a shared bathroom but was fine. Would recommend and have... More

My partner & I have been to the Kirk a number of times because of the proximity to the city. We rarely end up leaving the pub because the locals, food & atmosphere is worth the stay. Its hard to write a good review because its a gem that shouldn't be spoiled & we reluctantly share.

I felt like 2 nights was as much as I would want here, it was very hot, stuffy, loud and old. It was dirty, but at no fault to the cleaners, as the carpet were very old. This place can be described as average, as the staff were very friendly and even looked after our baggage and the price we... More

Outdated menu prices online Broken big light in our bedroom Noisy traffic constantly on intersection beeping and pedestrian crossing Extremely hot rooms (in January) even with fans The hotel booking said our accommodation included a “continental breakfast” but it came in a tuppaware box in the fridge in our room The top of the windows were filthy so my fingers... Well they say you get what you pay for. I could live with the road noise, my friend found that terrible. I loved the location, close to Darling Harbour and the Ferry and CBD. I didn't like on check in going to our room to find a leak in the bathroom ceiling to be told just fixing and painting it.... More
