There is no lift and we were on 3rd floor so had to carry heavy luggage down. We arrived at 3.15pm but room was still not ready so staff agreed to take our luggage in the "staff only" lift which was along the worst smelly hallway of any place I have ever been. The decor was so run down, with...

We stayed at Parkview for 1 night as i had something on in sydney. For starters its $10 a day parking and the parking is in a allyway ( where the bins are ) next to a club a bit seedy. The stairs leading to reception are metal and look unsafe especially in the wet. The reception smells and the...

It's a basic hotel but it does have an ensuite (shower/toilet). At least you don't have to walk down the corridor! Yes, it;'s basic, & yes the carpets are worn (I've stayed in worse), but it's lose to the Universities, has a huge Broadway Mall (with Coles supermarket & loads of shops & an Apple Store) at the back of...

Absolutely disgusting there is blood on the wall as you walk up the stair way, the carpet is putrid and really worn lots of tears in it the hallways smell like urine and really dirty. Upon entering the...

Let's put it this way, you need a budget room in a place near the Sydney CBD. This hotel answer's your call as the location is just 15 minutes walk to Darling Harbour, China Town and Central Train Station. It is three storey and has no lift, room with attached toilet (a big plus point), free in room wifi, cable...

My stay started with having to lug my suitcase up 3 flights of stairs as there is no lifts and no offer of help from the uninterested staff. Mouldy bathroom and thick dust was quite noticeable. Not a pleasant place to stay but location is good.

Stayed with 2 children (not for a family), Only for to sleep and go in the morning as it is very central and near all public transport, very basic & old if you are into this, but if on a very tight budget yes go with it, the price tells you what's about

Very basic and old.Needs a good bit of maintenance. Good location, close to Broadway Shopping Centre and opposite Victoria park. I would not recommend for families with young children. Limited Parking. Staff were helpful

There is a huge swing of ratings for this hotel. But you need to evaluate it based on its price compared to others is the area to give a fair rating For under $80 a night and it's close proximity to trendy and/or cafes, it I think the hotel has merit. The immediate area is a bit tired looking from...

Staying in Glebe

Neighbourhood Profile
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
