Staff were great with attentive service and the apartment was large and comfortable although dated. Overall good value for money for a quick business trip. My bedroom had a great outlook over Canberra.

Stayed for business November 21-25. As Parliament was sitting, most accommodation was booked and this was pretty good value for the money, and close to the convention centre where we were displaying. As noted in other reviews, we got out of the elevator on the second floor and it smelled like there had been a smokers convention recently. The room... More

My daughter and a group of school friends had booked and paid for two rooms for an overnight stay on route Sydney - Melbourne. Three of the group of seven were 17 yrs of age. On arrival there were denied entry to the hotel due to their age, the reason being the rooms had mini bars and there was no... More

This is not a 4 star hotel. Stayed here three nights and will not stay here again. First night I tried to order breakfast for the next morning for 7am but was told by the restaurant to call back in the morning (despite them only opening from 7am). The beds are hard and I'm fairly certain I had two single... More

Studio apartment. Room clean but needs freshening up (upgrade - refurb!). One thing that we noticed when getting out of the lift was the smells of everyones cooking. Was not pleasant, however once in room it was not as noticeable. Hotel as convenient to location we had a function at, however would probably not stay again.

Our one bedroom apartment acces was via an outside path which was really shabby with grass growing through pavers, no outdoor furniture in courtyards, some courtyards used for storage (privately owned perhaps) and a very squeaky gate to our apartment. Inside the apartment was roomy with a good sized kitchen and a laundry. The decor needs to be refurbished -... More

Check in was good, but there is a loading zone out the front where you have to park, check in girl advised you may get a fine if more then 5 mins parked there... Only downside was the mini bar fridge was full of buy me's. We had to empty it to put our own... More

Loved the location of this hotel, it was central to everything. We walked around the corner to the Floriade, walked around the corner to Canberra Central shops, could have walked to the War Memorial and Parliament House but a little lazy. The rooms were lovely and large, bed was comfortable, amenities great. Staff at the reception very helpful and friendly.... More

This hotel is situated in a great location, it is a short walk from "City Walk" mall, Myers, Coles, Aldi and lots of coffee shops. Bus stops are close by also. The rooms are very spacious and the kitchens have hot plates, cooking appliances, microwave, washing machine and drier. You can tell the hotel was an icon in its hey... More

Located in the CDB this hotel was close to the Convention Centre where the conference I was attending was held. It was also very close to the shops and restaurants. There was nothing outstanding about the room, it did the job but wasn't memorable in any way.. I found the key system frustrating as I had to get it reset... More
