I stayed here one night for a business trip based on Tripadvisor ratings and price, which was reasonable. One reason I booked it was that it had gym facilities - the gym is located in another building in the street (I think the entire street is a series of apartments and hotels like the Burbury). After driving from Sydney and...

I had a wonderful stay at the Burbury Hotel. The location is perfect for anyone who is looking to spend time in area of Parliament House and had many restaurants/bars in the area. The room was clean, beautifully maintained and spacious. The staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend the Burbury Hotel to anyone visiting Canberra.

I had two days of working in Canberra and decided to stay in the Burbury Hotel. This Hotel is very close to Parliament House and the National Gallery etc., I had an Apartment which had everything you could want to make your stay pleasurable. The Staff are helpful and the breakfast in the Terrace Room has the Best views of...

My very first encounter with a staff member was when I was booking over the phone. I specifically asked whether there was any benefit in booking directly through the hotel or booking.com and he said: "no there is not." After I booked with him I hoped on their website where there was a promotion on the home page stating "book...

Located in the parliamentary district, you will most definitely need a car if you're planning on visiting the attractions of Canberra, but street parking is free on the weekends, or you can include it with your reservation. The rooms are spacious, however the reading lights are a it awkward. Our balcony could have used a bit of a once over...

First impressions were great. Helpful staff, lovely modern apartment. Quite expensive with no added frills. There is a terrace on top of the hotel with great city views, but unless you eat breakfast in the restaurant or book high tea a couple of weeks in advance, you are unable to take advantage of the city views. There aren't any advantages...

Stayed here for 3 nights on Business and was very happy. Found the bed to be comfortable, room clean and modern, gym well equipped and reasonably priced. Liked the location I had easy access to drive all over Canberra with very little traffic, was able to stroll into Kingston and also close to Manuka so plenty of eateries. The only...

Usually stay at The Realm but as Parliament was sitting hotel accommodation was pretty hard to get. Although sister hotels they are nothing alike. The Burberry apartments are small. Staying in a 2 bedroom apartment, 2 bathrooms. You can hardly move in the bathroom, definitely only room for 1 person at a time. Bathroom drains smell so also made the...

The rooms were beautiful well set up and large semi self contained. The rooms were clean and new and well appointed. But the walk to breakfast was too long and the car park was painful we asked for a room away from the lift (due to noisey lifts) and were given a room straight across from the lift (the lifts...
