The staff at Villa Vanessa Hotel looks forward to serving you during your upcoming visit.
You get a totally wrong idea of Villa Vanessas´name. It is not a Villa. Only a few corridors by the road with rooms. Our inside door was broken and outside door too, plus unlockable. Window glasses broken all over the place. Messy place. Looks like time travelling to Russia at the 70's. Bedsheets smelling tobacco, beds itselves were good. Cleaning products odour everywhere. Service is good though they are not around at the hotel. Maybe because of corona, don't know. Nice swimming place near. Location is good. Not coming again and not worth the money. No breakfest or restaurant.
We popped in to see if they still served drink. They used to have a bar here. No longer. I don't think anything has changed for years and the place is looking more and more like a dilapidated old people's home, which it actually once was many years ago. I imagine that with the new motorway, they will get fewer paying guests as the traffic from and to Russia no longer flows down the nearby national road. I'm not optimistic about its future.
Just a motel in the middle of nowhere. Located in small village on the side of E18 route between Kotka and Lovisa. Nothing to do and nowhere to go without the car except sleeping during stopover on your way. Easy to find (visible signs), good free wi-fi in the rooms, 24-hours reception, free parking. The breakfast was rather basic. The staff is friendly and helpful - thanks a lot. Overall looks a little bit pricey according to the location and facilities.
And it looks like it. Rather surly staff, little help offered for enquiries and it still has an institutional feel! The view over the fields is nice and Broby/Siltakyla is a beautiful little village especially off road, walking in the countryside. But I don't think I'd stay here again.
It is a small and simple hotel, not far from highway, near Kotka. Easy to find. We stayed here for one night just for sleep and continued our trip to Tampere in the morning. It was quite cold in the morning in the room and the blanket was too small. But for one night it's not a big problem.
