Came for a one night stay to celebrate part of our honey moon and we was blown away. We stayed in the Merlot suite and it was perfect actually didn’t want to leave . The views are breathtaking taking . The service from the staff was amazing and nothing was too much trouble they even messaged me on the evening because the knew most of the restaurants shut early to see if we wanted anything cooking . We are planning a return just make sure you look which days everything closes in the village because once it’s closed there isn’t much so take any extras you may need . It’s a definite try . Thankyou again

We spent 2 nights at Oinou Strata for my birthday. We spent the first night in Shiraz and the second in Merlot and both suites were amazing. Shiraz has a massive jacuzzi bath and a courtyard whilst Merlot has a roll top free standing bath and magnificent views over the mountains and down to the sea in Limassol. The attention to detail is first class from the crystal chandeliers to the glass bottles with soap and bath salts in them. We’ve stayed in many many top notch hotels around the world and these suites rank amongst the best. The service we received from Xenia and the team was first class, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food from the wine bar was fantastic we had the cheese platter and liver pate on the first day and the salmon salad, halloumi and lountza sandwich and the combination platter on the second. All were extremely tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. Vouni is a lovely quaint old Cypriot village nestled in the mountains. The streets are tiny and cobbled and the buildings typically Cypriot with stone walls and wooden painted doors. We will definately be returning as soon as possible. We are very lucky to live in Cyprus and have this on our doorstep. Outstanding!

Second visit to this wonderful place and it was even better than the first time. The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special. We were celebrating a birthday and the room was nicely decorated with very romantic touches. The gin selection is also unexpected. We will be back again that’s a given!

When we checked in, €50 was blocked on our credit card in addition to the room price. We have never experienced anything like this anywhere in the world and we travel between 10 and 15 times a year! When we asked about wine glasses for the room, we were told that this would cost €15 (pressed glass!) per glass if we drank our own wine. It was only free if we bought a bottle of wine. There were no openers either!
The price-performance ratio is not really right here. We felt ripped off.

It is indeed a very nice place.. clean with nice details... but with the money you pay which is overestimated for example a breakfast could be offered in another place... or since it is pet friendly how can you pay extra on the already unrealistic price and €50 for the dog??? Also, how is it possible to pay €350 for a night with the dog and not offer wood for the fireplace and charge you €10 extra!!! It's an agritourism in the mountains, it's not even a five-star hotel!!! Which the price there refers to...

The best traditional luxury suites in Cyprus . Our last visit was the 3rd one on this place, this time on the shiraz suite !! All the suites are really beautiful with high quality furniture on traditional style , fire place and small kitchen . The 2 of the 3 suites have Jacuzzi! You also must check their bar where you can find exclusive Gin and spectacular wine cellar with wines from around the world! The breakfast is so delicious and you can have it on the room or in the bar area . Staying on Oinoustata is an experience to remember

We booked a room here for 2 nights for a special occasion.
We’d followed the place on social media for several months and we were determined to stay there this year.
We absolutely loved it, from the initial reservation and great communication, through to the pre-arrival and actual stay.
The village was fairly quiet but we enjoyed the meze at nearby Takis Taverna.
One night we just stayed at Oinou Strata and enjoyed exploring the gin menu and drinking great find and wine.
The rooms are superbly renovated and decorated and the Shiraz room has its own courtyard.
The service level was excellent, and special praise is deserved for Christos and his team.
We couldn’t fault anything, well done to all. We will definitely return!

We have visited the Gin & Wine bar at Oinou strata at Vouni village and we enjoyed some fantastic gin-based cocktails.
The bar area outside is a stone house’s backyard so it feels very cosy and tranquil.
Next time we shall reserve to stay there as well.

Beautiful small hotel in the beautiful village of Vouni. We stayed here for a couple of nights whilst hiking in the local area. The room itself was clean, large and stocked with nice products. The staff were very attentive and were at hand to serve nice wine and gin.
A couple of slight issues stopped me issuing 5 stars. Firstly, the breakfast was slightly disappointing. Limited choice of cold meats, cheese, a hard boiled egg that was overdone and not very nice coffee. Think i would have preferred to paid less and source my own breakfast.
Also worth noting, that there are limited places to eat in the local area. First night we ate at the only place open in the village and it was very poor. Drove to Omodos for the second night which was much more enjoyable.
Overall though, we enjoyed our stay here and found it very relaxing.
