When we reviewed this hotel on the Neilson website we thought it looked exceptionally good and offered the next step up from a good chalet experience. Unfortunately, the online video and photo's do not match the reality. It will be easier to list the good, indifferent and bad points below: Hotel Location: a superb location and offers a true ski-in...

just back from Belle Plagne Hotel Turquoise. Brilliant week skiing, hotel typical french ski resort. Lovely staff in hotel, ignore previous reports about food, we had lovely meals, porridge a bit dodgy and needs more cooking. Our room required some better cleaning as very dirty under beds (we kept our board/ski bags under there) and beds not made on a...

Transfers , Flights, Travel was a very well organised oiled machine as you expect from a reputable Travel Agent. The staff are happy , extremely friendly , a little relaxed attire at times but didn't bother me too much. However i am afraid that is where it ends: The hotel its self is lack luster in design , style and...

We have just finished a week skiing here and overall we were impressed. The hotel's refurb is great- better than pictures. Rooms are a good size, with one of ours having a mezzanine room with 3 extra beds on the top! We only used one. All the rooms are the same layout- we were on floor 4 and could hear...

We have recently stayed at the above hotel we were very disappointed with our rep in the resort he let us down on the last morning we had a virus while we there and did not ski at all. The rep mention that we could have a lift to the coach park that morning feeling out of breathe with this...

This is a well placed hotel, close to the village and in a great position for ski in, ski out... Rooms were large and all have balconies, some facing the main pistes. The only problem with this hotel was the food..... poor quality ingredients to start with but also badly cooked..... When you've had a hard day on the slopes...

We've skied at La Plagne several times in recent years; this was our second visit to Neilson's Chalet/Hotel Turquoise. We were apprehensive before this stay because of the critical nature of some recent reviews. Turquoise offers doo-to-door ski-ing, a step up from self-catering apartments; it's a 'chalet' not a top class hotel! Resort geography dictates that guests vacate their transit...

A true ski-in ski- out Hotel. It is on a blue run down to Bellicose lifts, however, it does have a steepish bit at top that may deter beginners or nervous people for a day or two. The bubble car is a 10 minute walk (max) from hotel that takes you into town to shops/restaurants and all lifts if needed....

The staff were excellent- very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable for a week of skiing and the food was very nice. The set menu never disappointed and it is in a good location to stop off for a drink in the afternoon

Most of my comments have been captured by some recent reviews below In terms of positives, the location of the hotel is ideal. The ability to ski in/ out onto a half decent blue which takes you down to Bellecote is really useful and avoids the needless traipsing over to a lift in your ski boots. It is also a...
