My family and I have been there a few times in the last 2 years. The playground, animations, program for children are all great. The strong weakness observed by many people is poor service of the staff working in the outdoor restaurant. They ignore customers, you must wait for everything for very long time and watch the staff standing and chatting. They never come to ask you if all is ok, if you need something, etc. Even takes for ever to pay your bill. People say such services in Slovakia need improvement but this one really sucks.

We stayed at the mobile home, which was tiny, but new, clean and well-equipped. The highlight is the huge area with excellent playground, next to animals and horse stables open the whole day. Kids can roam free and safe and they can have time of their life (at least our kids had). cats, dogs, horses, goats, chicken, geese, pheasants, pigs, mules...all living free-range, close to the extensive playground so the children cannot decide what to do sooner. Meanwhile you sit in the terrace and sip your coffee/beer/wine and read books. We loved it here. The restaurant is a bit pricy to be honest, but you dont have to eat there, if you dont want to. Plus the beautiful mountains all around and 2 large water parks 5 mins by car. Wifi works everywhere, not super fast but OK. The whole area gets very quiet after 9 in the evening.... Buffet breakfast was also OK (not excellent but acceptable unless you are vegan) ... We will certainly return!!

What an amazing playground! Expensive for a camp site but great for families because the kids can roam and play near the tent. Camping near the animals can be loud in the morning. Buffet breakfast available for 7€ per adult, OK but not exceptional.

The restaurant with a poor choice, taste terrible. We went to eat to nearby Koliba Greta. Owners pretty rude, not willing to help . Our kids were very dissapointed. It wasn't worth it. We enjoy much more our stay at Demanova rezort at Liptov approx.15km from betula.

It used to be a nice resort , i know it from already 12 years ago, brought them several campers and recommended in beginning for restaurant / services to several friends , family as a good place.
But what they try to do nowadays especially last 2 years , seems to be everything and nothing. Too many things on one place , not anymore privacy, quietness, and on top of it too expensive!

Last week we had a family visit, 2 kids and 2 adults - were there between 11:00 - 13:00 -
After entrance when you want your kids to play during your lunch on their super top children playground (which actually really dont offer that much) you have to pay 7 eur per kid, if you there 10 minutes or 2 hours doesnt matter, and 2 eur for adult - so you as an adult are using the slides? or their swings?? or you pay for standing on their grass ??
Not talking that you have to pay extra for other attractions - swimming in dirtly Biopool 2 eur , riding a pony 3 small rounds like 1 eur, etc..

For just small eating spent 35eur, where you are sitting on cheap quick built up terrace from wooden chipboard , uncomfortable tables and chairs , away from kids - you cannot be next to attractions (why not!?) and you dont see them good so you have to run every minute to check up

So what about someone who comes as a family just for half an hour or hour to eat ? As a bonus when he pays for food he can pay for the whole day entrance for kids - really great idea...

And as a bonus at the end i wanted my daughter just to show me what was the favorite swing and i was literally sent away from the playground from the guy who called himself an half owner of the resort because i already throw-ed away the prison-like paper bracelet that you need to have on your hand during whole time :) , i wished him good luck with this kind of behavior to customers , everybody feel free to try it on your own but believe me there are much better places in Liptov where they still care about the people as a people and numbers that bring money.

We did not stay un the hotel but spend a day in the resort and restaurant.

First of all I think it is very overpriced for what it is. Even adults accompanying children have to pay the entrance fee to get to the restaurant. There is a good choice of activities for kids and most of them are in a decent condition.

The outdoor restaurant is conveniently positioned for adults to sit in it while watching the children. However the restaurant staff are not very friendly, bordering with rude, even in Slovak standards (which are lower than what you can get used to in the UK but improving from year to year).

My advice - drop the charges for adults, lower the prices for kids, improve the service in the restaurant and it could be aplace where a family can spend a nice day without the bitter aftertaste and feeling of being overcharged.

We have eaten here a few times over the last 4 years. We used to go because it was great for our son. We could pay 2 Euro, and he could play as we ate. The food for Slovakia is poor and over priced, many other places are better. Also, the service was poor, slow, unfriendly. We went there last week, and I will say, they have invested and made huge improvement to the children's play facilities, and I understand that has to be paid for. It is now 7 Euro for the children to play. Expensive, but I get that. what made us turn around and leave is the demand of 2 euro per adult to simply supervise your own child. that's too far, and in principle, I wont go there. If you are paying for food, they want to charge me to watch my child ?. Go across the road and get play area for free, friendly, fun service and good food.

Nice resort for families. But if you want apartment, you have to dress up, because it does not have indoor connection, disadvantage in cold rainy weather. Medium standard of accomodation. Nice outdoor children playground, small zoo, horse riding.

The resort is like a big box of attractions for kids. There is a huge bouncy castle, trampolines, mini zoo, horses, a crawl-climb-tower, sandbox and so on, the list is long. The space is huge too. Also, there is an actual horse arena. And if all that is not enough, there is also a big indoor space with more playspace for kids. So if your kids are roughly 3-8 or so, they will love it.
The catering is adequate, for reasonable price, decent quality.
As for the accomocation, we tried the most expesive room, which was fantastic. 4 proper beds, living room, spacious bathroom, and even a fireplace. The room was definitely 4*.

In general, I'd happily come back to unleash my kids and relax a little.
