We drove up after making our reservations on line about 30 minutes prior and after a cold, wet and long motorcycle ride through the mountains. They were so welcoming and told us to meet them in the dining room for dinner when we were ready. We were the only ones staying there besides friends of the owner and they offered...

The Don Giovanni hotel is a very luxury and peaceful place located near Sambuca. The rooms are complete, with a bathroom (shower + toilet), fridge, enough space for your belongings and are cleaned every day. The staff is very friendly. Seems that it's a family business where everyone has their own task. The quality of the restaurant is also very...

This is a beautiful hotel in the countryside with rooms facing a courtyard. The rooms are simple but nice. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was good. The four cheese gnocchi was fabulous. My only complaint is the spa. It is advertised on the website and there are various services offered but I tried twice over 2...

This hotel is located in a old farm/baglio building where they still produce some stuff themselves. Room was nice and charming, nice garden and a big swimming pool. Reception was very friendly and helpful but THE secret is Signora Anna and her traditional cooking. Simply delicious Sicilian food !

This is highly recommended. Set in a wonderful landscape. Service is good. Food is excellent. We sat in a shady courtyard, drinking wine before dinner. You are transported to another world where all is peaceful and authentic.

We (female 27, male 29) stayed here for 3 nights during our combined Sicily & Sardinia trip. This was by far one of the best hotels we came across. The location and building is breathtaking combined with the landscape and beautiful flowers surrounding this hotel. The swimming pool is big and surrounded by great beds. Service is good at the...

Think relax, great landscapes and proximity to wineries and atmospheric villages. I stumbled on this hotel while travelling in west Sicily. The rooms and decoration is basic but the place is perfectly located and the pool definitely worth a relaxing morning. Enjoy

We stayed here one night on our driving tour of Sicily and chose a 4 star hotel for each night. We too found all doors locked on arrival but found someone in the restaurant who let us in. We had lunch before checking into our room and it was really lovely. The courtyard is pretty and we stayed in room...

On balance this is a lovely, family run hotel placed in vineyards and olive groves. Reception is oddly placed around the back of the hotel and when we arrived at 2pm the door was locked. We went to what seemed more like the front door we found the lady but it was pot luck I think. The old couple do...

We stayed for a weekend with a group of friends which included a few italians and we found the hotel was excellent. We had room 8 which consisted of a double, a twin room and a shower room with modern fittings. The room had traditional styling and was clean and well presented. The hotel is approached by a single track...
