A friendly well kept jewel in the Lakes. Excellent ale, roaring hearth and lovely selection of meals. Ideal Halfway break between Scotland and England off the M6. Lovely fishing and the air is so fresh.

The mattress on our bed and we stayed in chalet 7 was Dura beds Tencel picket 1000
