“Villa Cinzia” is located in Santa Sabina, a nice resort village 20km North of Brindisi. It is a newly built villa offering a few rooms featuring all the modern appliances and comfort. Our room on the first floor, had a fair size, two very comfortable singe beds, a modern bath room, a terrace with a nice view on the pool area and sea. WiFi is excellent and even allowed video streaming. Breakfast is pretty good and is normally taken on the open terrace on the ground floor. The accommodation is in the first row of houses at the beach area of Mezzaluna. 3 minutes by foot to the beach with facilities like sunbeds, umbrellas, toilets and a beach bar offering drinks and some snacks like salads or sandwiches. In mid-September there were only a few people at the beach with fine sand and very clean water (temperature ca 27°C). Stefano, the owner of the place provides a very good advice on restaurants. A large number is within 5-10 minutes walking distance in the village of Santa Sabina. The location of “Villa Cinzia” is absolutely quiet and a heaven for relaxation. It is also a very good location to visit some of the most interesting cities of Puglia like Ostuni, Alberobello, Martina Franca, Brindisi. It's a 3 room B&B in a residential area of a beach community. If you want to be away from the crowds, walk to the beach and town, and have a peaceful relaxing spot to come back to with it's own pool - this is the spot. Stefano is the owner and he is a wonderful host. He speaks a little English, we speak a little less Italian but it all works. We had 2 of the 3 rooms so it was like we were staying in a private house. Breakfast if good - especially if Stefano brings in a foccacia Barese and some figs from his garden. One tip - have cash - no credit cards although Stefano drove me into the next town to the bancomat (10 minutes away) it's easier if you're prepared.
