Response from sinead G, Owner at Bayview B&B
Responded 6 Jan 2020
Hi I think you have the wrong Bayview B&b as I am not near a town or busy road. I am situated in remote area in Tiernee, Lettermore, Connemara and I have been closed during Winter. Kind regards Sinead owner

Just back from a weekend staying with Sinead in Bayview B&B and I am a little hesitant to share this find with all and sundry, preferring to keep this little gem to myself. Bayview is in a stunning location in one of the most unspoilt parts of Connemara Gaeltacht. The house is spacious and provides extremely comfortable and cosy accommodation. We had our teenage girls with us and they enjoyed it too. Sinead's home baking was a strong feature of the weekend and we left with some of her gorgeous brown bread to take back to the city with us. Highly recommended.

I run a family business and for the last three years have been supervising crews throughout Ireland carry out insulation works for senior citizens etc. My sister who I work with, booked us into the Bayview and I don't say this lightly, our experience has been of the highest standard. All my crews and I have thoroughly enjoyed SInead and Padraic's hospitality. The breakfasts and dinners were very satisfactory. This is simply the best place you could stay if you are near here. The best in Galway for me, and I mentioned already this is through 3 years of staying in b&bs throughout Ireland. A perfect location also if you want to explore what beauty the area has to offer. Also a handy base if doing day trips throughout Connemara. Unfortunately we had to work but we still got glimpses of some beautiful scenery. Not least the view from the b&b.

I returned here recently with my family and it was a wonderful stay that again, we will never forget
Padraic and Sinead were really welcoming upon our arrival. Their place is like a home away from home.
Its the perfect base for visiting Connemara and a day trip to the Aran islands.
There's even a holy well worth visiting just up the road.
We are really hopeful to return next year, the Bayview is so nice.
For peace and quiet and tranquility, look no further.

Had a fab Easter weekend up west. The weather & scenary were fan but the icing on the cake was our accommodation. This B&B was by far the best I have ever stayed at. Sinead & her family made you feel like part of the family not paying guests. Nothing was too much trouble. We had our dinner cooked by Sinead on one night and it was fan & accompanied by a bottle of complimentary white wine. All our food was freshly homemade. Will definitely be making our way back West;-)

As we drove to Bayview, it felt remote. You drive over three causeways to reach it on an island that is situated between a bay and the Atlantic. But it was a perfect locale for us, quiet and scenic, and a short drive (closer than Galway) the next morning to the ferry at Rossaveel, which takes you to Aran Islands. The beds are medium-firm, which are perfect for us. I can't say enough about Sinead's outstanding care for her guests--tea and snacks, wonderful breakfast, driving sympathy and advice, even laundry. Everything about this B&B was perfect! Go raibh maith agat!

We have hillwalked all over Ireland and stayed in numerous B&B's - Bayview is one of the best. Delicious food, great accomodation & Sinead is an excellent Hostess. If you plan to visit the area book early as more and more people are raving about the B&B so it will undoubtedly it be booked out.

Had the nicest stay in Bayview B and B Lettermore. Really lovely house and rooms were better than a lot of hotels. We were so well looked after by Sinead. Food was delicious-attention to detail was amazing. A great find! Will be back next year!

The nicest family, serving the best food in a magical place! Sinead and Poirick are the best hosts. We instantly felt like part of the family. I could have stayed with them for weeks. They hosted 7 of us no problem.

Many thanks for a fantastic stay at Bayview.
Exceptional hospitality, great accommodation and the best Irish Breakfast!!
Nothing was too much trouble and we would all certainly recommend Bayview which exceeded all expectations
Sinead even took the time to drop us off at the pub to collect our car
