Staying in standard room with my two teenagers at the moment. Booked for 2 nights. Pros- beautiful surroundings. Spa is small and packed but quite decent. Food and service were good at o’learies.Staff in general very nice. Cons- everything is dated. In desperate need of refitting. Pillows are dreadful. Can’t really call them pillows. Completely flat with bits of foam (?) floating inside the pillow covering.I asked for new ones- they don’t have any better ones. The top of the sofa bed in which my son slept in crashed down at 1am. He then had to sleep in what was left of the sofa bed. Sofa bed is really old. Definitely not fit for an adult to sleep on it. I complained to the manager at the reception. Her solution was to give us the room next door with exactly the same pillows and the sofa bed. It’s a bit like visiting your grandparents who’ve never bought anything new since the eighties which would be fine as you are visiting your grandparents. instead you are staying at katinkulta “hotel” and I paid over 400 euros for the “staying over at your grandparents house- experience”. Super disappointed. Oh, it’s quite warm. The ac is a small table fan. 🤷🏼♀️…

The hotel has huge open and closed facilities for its customers to do various sports which they all use. It also provides everything else that modern hotels have at a very good level. The room they gave us was large for 4 people, very clean and fully equipped. I am very satisfied with my stay and I would recommend it to others.

We stayed at an apartment. The fridge was broken, beds were very uncomfortable, the place was dirty. We went to the reception to tell about the fridge but nothing happened. The swimming pools and saunas were great. And the pizza in the hotel was tasty.

We expected nice, clean and cozy rooms for the price we paid, but no. Rooms were not cleaned well, there was dirt, sand, hair etc on the floors. Tables and chairs in the rooms were not cleaned as well. Toilet was worn out and looked like it wasn't cleaned at all. Service staff at the hotel didn't appear to be very positive. Spa area was also dirty and some of the saunas and pools looked like they needed already some maintaince since there was tiles dropping off of them. Hotel gave wrong information about the spa's opening hours since everybody were forced to leave spa area 19:20, but we were told that area is open till 8 o'clock. All in all. Disappointed about the service, information and the rooms. Not going again and would never recommend this place to anyone. There are better spa's with similiar prices available in near areas…

We stayed in this hotel for one night on our one-night stay in Vuokatti. We chose the hotel because of its good amenities and the spa - the spa ticket adds an extra 20 EUR / person to the bill, but the spa was all in all nice! The hotel itself has many amenities such as the spa, a golf course, many restaurants (of which you could get take away food to your room if you wanted, which is a huge plus during the pandemic), R-Kioski, many rental services, a gym etc. but we only made use of the spa. The spa itself is quite big with many indoor pools and an outdoor pool - our absolute favorite was the sauna world with steam saunas, traditional Finnish saunas, a cave sauna, an experience shower and a smoke sauna (outdoors). 20 EUR / person is quite a lot though for a day in the spa. The room itself was very basic, and although we were looking forward to a night in a hotel to escape the terrible heat wave, the room was very hot during the night. There was shower soap in the bathroom, but we would've fancied some other produce as well, such as shampoo and cream (I love Dove's products, but did not want to wash my hair with 1/4 moisturizing cream). There was no coffee / tea option nor a mini bar in the room either, which would've been ideal for storing our own foods and drinks. Our room was quiet, and the staff was overall nice! As a couple with no kids the hotel serves best customers with children, as there are many things to do as a family. The location at summer is very good, there is a beach nearby. During wintertime I'd prefer staying in a hotel close to the slopes.…

Lots of things to do! Resort area is safe place for biking. For adults there are bikes included in the accommodation or you can rent one if not included. Tip: take bikes for kids with you. Relaxing spa and sauna area. Peaceful and OK maintained

We went skiing and when booking we took the price into account. The price had taken into account a two-hour presentation on the Katinkulta concept. The presentation was ok and we got the necessary facts but we didn’t take the offer. The hotel itself was worn out and needs an update. poor soundproofing in the rooms. The cleaning didn't work at all. We were four days and annoyed on vacation to self empty the trash. The room was too hot. Was not possible to make coffee yourself and any excess was chargeable for example slippers to the spa. We travel with pets but pets were not taken into account in any way.no towels, drinking cups ext. In the spa area itself nothing to mention ... Basic,but the savusauna, cold water pool ext.was the best throughout the holiday, from thereof special mention. …

The spa and sauna department of this hotel is the best i have found in Finland so far. Staff are nice and helpful. Only downside is products like bacon is taken away from the breakfast since holidayclub does not find it neccessary, its one of the joys with hotel breakfast to have eggs and bacon.

Holiday club Katinkulta I spent my holiday in Holiday club Katinkulta in Vuokatti. This was supposed to be 4 star hotel and spa. Bad service and bad athmsphere. I couldn’t book any treatments. Also it was not possible To book any restaurant in advance I was just simply told to get in line. Also at the bar, most of the drink options were out of stock. Only basic domestic beer was available. Bad service all around. Can’t recommend this to anyone.
