Hotel Chablis was great. We lugged our suitcases a short 5min walk from the bus stop, this is totally manageable, dont be fooled into taking a taxi. We arrived at 8am, check in was at 3pm. At first we were told that we would not be able to get our rooms until midday, but we were free to use the...

So happy we chose Chablis. We got a great deal at $50 US a night (July, low-season). Make sure to check the major travel websites for a deal. Great location! We packed light; so for us the hotel was walking distance from the bus stop. It was down a quiet street in a nice hotel/restaurant area. Clean, comfortable, and great...

Considering all the hotels around this one are designed like Disney adaptations of a Mexican hotel, Hotel Chablis was refreshingly more original in keeping its demeanor more downscale - I have one minor complaint and that is the dearth of English spoken by the front desk clerks. If this is meant to cater to international travelers, then I think multilingualism...

I think Chablis is the best deal in Palenque. The price was excellent, about $62 US with taxes for two of us. The restaurant has decent food and the rooms were clean, beds very comfy with nice sheets, had a TV with a few English movie channels, good strong WiFi, good a/c, and the pool was a natural temperature. (I...

We had only two nights here but had an enjoyable stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the rooms are perfectly clean. The rooms were so quiet - we had the best nights sleep. Restaurants and cafes around this area are expensive but there is a large supermarket nearby which we walked to often to save money. Thank...

Set in a nice bit of palenque with tree lined streets and many restaurants. Nice pool and good rooms and some staff speak english. We got a good deal as it was quiet season. It is a short walk to centre of town although there is not much there.

We had book 2 rooms for 2 nights, which were nice, clean and have a balcony. The air worked great. They had secure parking. And our rooms included breakfast, which was good. The hotel has a very nice inner courtyard with a pool, lounge chairs and nice tables to enjoy a cocktail after a long hot day of sightseeing. I...

We spent two nights here as part of a tour. Our room was plain and lacking in character but clean and comfortable. Staff were obliging. The hotel was in a quiet street surrounded by other hotels. We were advised not to walk anywhere at night.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel and i really liked it. It is near to the "city " and within a 5 minute walk you can catch a bus to the arecheological Mayan citiy Palenque. The rooms are clean and big.The staff is very nice and next to the hotel you find a lot of restaurants.
