Huge resort in a lovely location surrounded by jungle. Very few of the staff speak english but the manager welcomed us on arrival (we never saw him again). We stayed here in October when the hotel was very quiet (maybe 7 other guests in total) however we were given a room outside of which there were maintenance works starting around...

we loved our stay at Chan-Kah. Our house had a living room, a porch, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was super spacious for my family. The rooms were well air-conditioned. It is situated in the lush jungle but with luxurious elements. The wifi worked well near the pool, dining room and lobby. The pool was great although part of...

The location and gardens of the hotel are excellent. The decoration of the room was nice also. But the cleanliness and service were very poor to say the least. We found a scorpion and several spiders in our room the first night, I understand the hotel is in a forested area, but I have stayed in the jungle before, in...

Based on a one night stay. Despite some difficulty with check in, the staff was polite and accomodating throughout the process. Room was clean and nice enough, with the basic amenities. Every thing worked, although with a few built in quirks to keep it interesting. The grounds were nicely kept. We requested and recieved a cabana at the edge of...

It is a quiet resort and very convenient for visiting the ruins at Palenque and probably a better option than staying in town but I did not look at other hotels. The rooms are spacious with good aircon and TVs with some English speaking channels. The Wifi is only in the public spaces and the bar and restaurant are set...

We spent a week at Chan-Kah and found it to be the perfect place to relax amidst natural tropical beauty, the tranquility of the well-kept gardens, pools and grounds and of course priceless adventures with kindly jungle animals. The first day we got to see/hear a howler monkey, which was soon followed by encounters with agutis, huge iguanas, etc. The...

We were traveling with my father celebrating his 80th birthday, it was an excellent choice. My husband and I got the closeness with the jungle that we like so much, with great privacy. My son got a great swimming pool and good snacks. My father go a comfortable, accesible room. The distance to the ruins is unbeatable. The location is...

This is a large resort-style hotel and not the kind of place we'd normally stay. It was, however, virtually empty when we visited. We had a huge suite with A/C and ceiling fans. Very comfortable and clean. A problem with a non-flushing toilet was very quickly fixed. It is close to the Palenque ruins and outside the town, which looked...
