We really enjoyed our break at Applewood Mill, so much so we have already made a second booking. Annie and Mike were extremely accommodating and provided a great source of local information. The scrambled eggs for breakfast were some of the best ever tasted. We are reluctant to say how great Applewood Mill is in case it is booked the...

We had a very pleasant stay at Applewood Mill. The surroundings are very quiet and rural. Our hosts were perfect, they were very friendly and and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are part of a milking shed conversion: It is beautifully light and airy making it feel quite large. It is very convenient for Hereford and its attractions...

Despite a slight mix up upon check in Mike and Annie were perfect hosts, who did everything they could to make us feel welcome. The cottage is really nice with a lot of space and an amazing bathroom, we decided to make the most of it with a movie night. Amazing breakfast too! Looking forward to making a return visit,...

Stayed here on the 8th May 2015 We had one slight difficulty with the trip, which was finding the place! Sat Nav takes you slightly up the road the the sign isn't very noticeable from the road When we arrived we walked to the rear of the property and poked out head in an open kitchen door. The lady owner...

Returned today from this beautiful cottage. Annie and Mike made my partner and I feel very welcome. The cottage is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean and only a short drive to Hereford city center. A very comfy nights sleep and I enjoyed wakening up to the singing birds :) We had a very tasty breakfast that was cooked by Mike...

This has got to be probably the nicest B & B we have ever stayed in! It's in a stunning location, a short drive from Hereford, and we spent 2 great nights there. Annie & Mike were the most helpful and kind of hosts. The accommodation is effectively self-contained - comfortable double bed, great bathroom, lovely bathtowels, beautifully decorated and...

This is an annex off the back of the main house which is occupied by our hosts, so is a one bedroomed apartment. Our hosts were simply the most welcoming lovely people, and created the perfect balance of attentive but not overbearing hosts. The service was impeccable and the breakfast was very good. They offer a mix of full english...

My husband and I stayed for one night at Applewood Mill in Bartestree and it was fabulous. The welcome by Annie and Mike was the first thing that made our stay wonderful, they made the most accommodating hosts possible. Everything about the accommodation was fantastic, spotlessly clean, luxurious sheets and towels and the breakfast the next morning (cooked by Mike)...

Greeted warmly from our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. Try and stay longer as its so relaxing. Clean and lovely having an apartment and not having to share it. We had our breakfast on the decking.

Thank Liam G
