I stayed here for ten days the spring of 2015. I had rather hoped for the sort of B&B where folks from different countries get together for breakfast and talk story. And I hope for nice rooms. Alas! Breakfast was mediocre and the rooms, though clean, could have used some work. Chipped tiles, bare light bulbs, etc. And although the...

Stayed at the Villa Del Porto in Kalkara for 5 days. I had room 302 which has a balcony overlooking the marina. beautiful sunsets and sunrises from my balcony. enjoyed a quite glass of local wine on balcony while people stolled around the marina. Room was comfortable and basic. shower door needs to be repaired but not a big deal...

We went to Malta to visit family and stayed in villa del porto in Kalkara a lovely little fishing village. The villa was a typical maltese house. The room we had was adequate needs a bit of revamping but clean, the breakfast was very boring the same thing each day no variety, very limited.

Aldo (think was the proprietors name) welcomed me I went up to a clean room, which was most pleasant with nice views over the harbor of Kalkara. Breakfast was passable. My only down side was road noise (I got woken up by general road noise a few times and more memorably bass cannons at 1am and a scooter with no...

The guest house is located in a lovely location in picturesque Maltese village with reasonable transport links (bus, boat) to Valetta. Very friendly staff, good facilities and very clean & spacious rooms. Good wifi connection and great selection of TV channels. We visited in February and the room was very cold with the AC heating unfortunately not working. Very poor...

The room was somewhat smaller than we initially expected, yet nice, cosy, and clean. The view from our balcony was beautiful. Beds were great and there was a variety of pillows to choose from. Our airconditiong worked fine during our first week, but during the second, it started leaking. It must be said that the hotel owner did everything in...

Situated in Kalkara, next to Birgu (Vittoriosa). Very peaceful part of the city, plenty of history with superb view on the fortifications of Birgu and La Valetta. Int his part of the town there are almost no hotels (there are good restaurants though in nearby Birgu !) but considering the very historical and beautiful setting, this is very strange. We...

This is seemed more like a B & B to me. There were both positives and negatives. 1. Location - If you are relying on buses to get around, it is quite out of the way. It took us about an extra 30/40 minutes to reach Valetta main bus port and then go from there to our destination for the...
