Beautiful, quiet place on the edge of the village, not far away from the few bars/restaurants you may need. Owner kindly upgraded me to a superior room with a nice jacuzzi tub, perfect for weary pilgrim legs. No breakfast available at the time I was there in June, but a vending machine with coffee & snacks on premises. Overall a great stay
We stayed here one night during our Camino De Santiago trip. Big nice rooms. And nice location. They use to organise events here (weddings). Apart from the good room, what was a positive surprise was the nice service. After a nearly 40 KM day hike we were too tired to go out to buy stuff, but the owner offered us 2 free beers with some snacks. Really recommended if you happen to be there.
We've stayed at Hotel Rural Casa Xusto. Very nice hotel and well appointed. His owner make sure our stay was all right. He was very courteous and attentive. The hotel is located in La Caridad. We stayed at a corner room. Clean and nicely decorated. I would recommend it if you happen to be in the area. thanks
We stopped here along the Camino Norte, somewhat taken aback by the beauty of the venue and rooms. The place itself looks like its business model is based around weddings and parties with an external bar and a marquee in the garden at time of visit. The room was gorgeous with shuttered window, no aircon but it did have a Jacuzzi bath, which was great for tired walkers to relax in. The town itself isn't up to much but the beach is about a mile away and has a nice little bar. The only thing marking the hotel down was no aircon and very little staff.
We had a great stop over on our Camino walk. The hotel was quiet as we were out of season. Our room was cosy and comfortable. The jacuzzi bath was a plus. The family who run the hotel and a cafe nearby were charming. Highly recommended.
