Had a quite two night break here. Fantastic place!!! The themed bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. En suite was good with excellent power shower. The tea room/bar area is very pleasant (and popular) and the restaurant provides very good quality food at reasonable prices. The gift shop offers great choice and value. The staff were very good and service... More

This place is right up my street! It's a small hotel with fabulous individual rooms. I was in the Victoria Gothic room which was incredibly comfy and had excellent attention to detail. Food in the restaurant was delicious, and breakfast the same. Would highly recommend staying here for any occasion. Wonderful peaceful nights sleep and woke up to an amazing... More

Had dinner here and it was up to its usual standard. Food is always good hearty home cooked fayre at a reasonable price. The staff are always happy and very helpful. It's one of my favourite places to have a meal out. I only knocked one star off as the woodland trail is in need of some maintenance. The items... More

Thanks for the lovely review. Fair point about the Woodland trail, we do intend on giving it a spruce up before the new season begins. It never looks quite so good in the Winter. Many thanks for taking the time to review More

Went with my wife & son. Always a treat to visit here and especially if you have the chocolate scones, with nutella & clotted cream. We booked, as it is usually packed, even if it was mid week. It was fairly full when we arrived, so glad we booked. My wife ordered a sausage & onion baguette, which she said... More

The Wolds Village is an 18th century house with attached farm buildings. It is both an Inn/hotel and a restaurant. It has old style traditional character and has a pleasant relaxed ambience. We have not stayed at the hotel overnight but visited three times for a meal at different times of the day to eat. The food is good honest... More

Sunday lunch with family. We had been on our own and really enjoyed the experience so booked for four of us. Book early to get a table. We were amongst the first to order and service was quick and friendly. The Yorkshire puddings are unbelieveable, never seen any as large. Plenty of meat on the plates, beef for two of... More

Wolds Village is one if our favourite restaurants. The Sunday lunch is as good as you could possibly get anywhere and luckily for us its only a 15 minute drive away. For the quality we think the meals are very fairly priced and the portion sizes are very generous. The staff are very friendly and professional and make everybody feel very... More

Visited last night, both of us chose sirloin steak, this came with salad, proper home made chunky chips, and onion rings, it was gorgeous, the steak was cooked perfectly how we had asked for it, the chips were fab as was the onion rings, we opted for dessert, which we didn't really need but couldn't resist, fresh fruit salad which... We had high expectations and Wolds Village exceeded them all. Our two friends, my husband and I, stayed 21-23 December 2015 for my birthday and we had such a wonderful time. We stayed in the Victorian Gothic room, with stunning wood work throughout and a beautiful ensuite bathroom and our friends stayed in the Tudor room which was equally stunning.... More

We stayed for 3 nights over the Christmas period. We stayed in the Art Deco room on the ground floor which was tastefully decorated in the afore mentioned style. There was a lovely bath with a power shower over it. I would have preferred to be able to have a shower in the morning and evening without having to wash... More
