Okay, so we are staying at the Wolds Village tonight and in trying to decide whether to use the restaurant here we referred to trip advisor. The reviews ranged from great to terrible but in the interests of both myself and my partner being able to relax and enjoy a drink with our meal we decided to take a chance...

Lovely food and good service, but not the cheapest of places, jacket potato with cheese, ham salad, toasted sandwich plus 3 drinks and 3 pieces of cake £50, so make sure you have plenty of cash when visiting

Monday afternoon birthday lunch with the family. Although quite busy when we arrived we were quickly ushered without a booking to a table of choice in very pleasant surroundings. After ordering from the extensive menu we had a frustratingly long (45 mins) wait before our Ploughman's, Baguette and Scampi meals arrived. Very tasty and plenty of it but were disappointed...

Can't fault this place, we have Sunday lunch there almost every week and are never disappointed. Food fresh, tasty, well prepared and beautifully presented, desserts to die for, good quality coffee and pleasant surroundings, attentive, friendly staff, what more could we ask for.

Lovely place for a good meal, in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Staff are all good and give you plenty of space and time so you don't feel rushed or harrassed. There is also a little gift shop and art gallery, and a small woodland walk you can enjoy when the weather is fine. Would definitely recommend, and go here...

We went for lunch with my parents & all of us had a really lovely meal. The atmosphere is warm & inviting with very friendly, welcoming staff. Soya milk is available, as are gluten free options! Couldn't fault anything!

We have been to this restaurant on numerous occasions. The food is always very good quality. We haven't had a poor meal yet. Been going over 10 years. The staff are always very helpful and pay attention to customer needs. There is an Art Gallery on site as well as a shop. Also you can stay overnight if you want...

Stunning accommodation / food / service what more can you ask for on a restful weekend away. The location for us is not too far to be able to book at short notice although the hotel does book out fast because of its appeal. Close enough to the East Coast but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle.
