We received a very warm welcome and spent 4 lovely nights in this Hostal, rooms were cleaned daily and the hostal was extremely clean and tidy with movie posters and memorabilia from Spaghetti Western films in the bar/restaurant area. we stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, but ate in the restaurant each evening, this was 'menu of the day'...

It's a nice place to have really good typical Spanish food! Everything we tried was very tasty and fresh! There are different options of meat and fish and especially the daily changing 3 course menu is great. The prices are very good (11 Euro for three courses and a drink!) The service is also good! We can only recommend the...

The hostel has perfect location for visiting beaches of Cabo de Gata Natural Park. It's in a tiny and quiet village with almost no traffic so no need to ask for a quiet room ;) Lots of parking space around the building.

Be ready that reception is closed at night and that owner may not answer the phone even if you have reservation that day. Tip: go to the bar on the other side of street and ask barmaid to call owner. Owner speaks only spanish! But hes very nice man . During the breakfast he will show you movie with clint...

This hostal is excellent value for money and great location for visiting nearby beaches. The village doesn't really have much going for it, but very Spanish and not the least bit touristy. This was our 3rd visit within a 9 month period, but think it will be the last as the evening menu (although excellent value for money) was almost identical to...

The hostal is in a small village at the Cabo de Gata-Nijar natural reserve borders. Landscape is magic! Awesome beaches are very close (up to 20 min. by car). The village hosted scenes of the greatest western movies directed by Sergio Leone! Staff is awesome and the room very confortbles! Breakfast and dinner not included but very cheap and good!

Lets face it Los Albaricoques itself is a dump, its saving grace is the fact that Clint Eastwood filmed three classic films in the area back in the sixties, that alone makes it worth a visit. The Hostal Alba is what is is, a very friendly, value for money Hostal with reasonably comfortable rooms. The evening meal is not the...

Although not equipped with the features you'd expect of a four star hotel I have to rate this hotel "excellent" in its own category because of its value for money and the warm welcome from it's staff. The hotel is just on the right as you enter Los Albaricoques from the San Jose/Almeria direction. Drive two hundred metres toward Martinez...

A bit surprised by the remoteness of the Hostal Alba and wondering whether we had made a wise choice. We entered the restaurant which was lively with what appeared to be locals having their lunch. Swiftly booked in and shown to a separate entrance for the hostal rooms. Small but adequate very clean twin room with plenty of blankets, air...

This place exceeded all my expectations in a positive way. Set in the middle of a magical landscape. Very practical with its restaurant and FREE breakfast. Extremely quiet at night allowing for a restful sleep. Spotlessly clean and relaxed. Wifi works like a charm. Best of all: the owner Manuel is a very friendly guy, welcoming and informative. I can...
