There is no way I would come back to this place. Scary as all hell. Our neighbours (room next door) were having the biggest domestic around. So much yelling. The room it self was extremely old and run down. Smelly and stained. Only plus was it was right next to the pub!!!

I couldn't sleep a wink Nasty stains on the floor, the carpets and the bed! Disgusting I've stayed in plenty of hotels and motels in this price range before - the management really needs to do something about these rooms! Spiders and bugs throughout the room forced us to go and bug bug spray and insect repellant just to get...

Me and my fiancé had travelled from Airlie Beach to Mackay and the weather was quite bad so we thought we'd grab a room wherever for the night before heading home (3hours inland from mackay). For $55 we weren't expecting anything GREAT but definitely not what we got!! The room we first got was horrible! It smelled damp and mouldy,...

OK so the reviews below may have some truth, but seriously what did they expect for the price ? I stayed here with my three kids whilst driving north to south. We arrived late and left early, all I needed was a place to rest for a few hours and get going again. The room had clean white sheets, a...

I stay here regularly and I agree with some of the comments left by others. This is very low budget motel accommodation in need of a lot of work. It has been said that the entire hotel/motel is to be demolished with a new 2 level motel structure being erected. This complex is owned by WesFarmers or " Coles "...

Described as a family room but on entering I had to lift the filthy chairs onto a table to prevent my children from sitting on them and told them to keep their shoes on apart from in bed! I have never IN MY LIFEstayed at anywhere so filthy and grotty as the kooyong hotel. Dead insect all over the floor,...

... and you don't pay much at the Kooyong Hotel. The Pub is one of the saddest places you've seen, unless you're there to film a documentary about crack and alcohol addiction. In that case it's a great place to hang out at! All in all just a run down Motel from somewhere in the 60's or 70's with a...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The price you pay is not worth what you get. Looking at the entry door from the inside there was a small gap where you could see outside. Bedside draws had a half empty packet of potato chips in it. The bathroom window fly screen had dust caked on it very thick. The star rating sticker...

This is motel style rooms behind the kooyong pub. I found the hotel to be very old and run down, issues with the door to the room being insecure. I was so upset about the state of the room that we only stayed a few hours and left. We had driven up from the gold coast and needed somewhere to...
