We had booked to stay at Easter 2020 and then rolled the booking over the Easter 2021. Unfortunately, the ongoing pandemic has meant that this will not be possible but we have been incredibly impressed by the responsiveness of the service and the desire to go the extra mile to ensure that they could accommodate what we want. Hope that we might be able to stay when we've safely emerged from the current crisis.
Due to stay Easter 2020, covid prevented us, postponed for a year and covid got in the way again - one day we'll get to this lovely place, but in the meantime the owners were super flexible and helpful, refunding our booking. Looking forward to booking again with better luck!
We booked Lamp Cottage for a family celebration for my Mum's 80th and my brothers 50th birthdays last Oct (2020) . Sadly with restrictions etc we were unable to go and we moved the booking to March (2021) this year, unfortunately we have now had to cancel our whole booking as it simply isn't going to happen and trying to get 4 families from 4 different parts of the country together is a logistical nightmare at the best of times! From the minute I spoke to Barry about the initial booking to today when I finally accepted I was going to have to cancel I have had nothing but amazing service. Nothing has been too much trouble, each time we have had to rearrange he reassured me that we could cancel and get a full refund at any point if things changed again with Covid. I felt happy and confident that I wouldn't have any issues with a refund and this has proved to be the case. We will definitely be rebooking at some point and I can honestly say that I have never dealt with a nicer, more helpful person and would highly recommend if you are looking for a staycation this year that you book Haddon Grove Farm Cottages with no hesitation!…
We booked 3 cottages last year for Easter 2020 for a family celebration. Sadly this was not to happen due to Covid restrictions but with Barry and Jo's help we were able to transfer the booking to Easter 2021.. Barry phoned me yesterday as it had become evident with the new lockdown road map guidelines we wouldn't be able to travel yet again this year. He kindly said he wanted to make sure we were able to re-book the dates we wanted before these were taken as he had been so busy taking new bookings since the lockdown announcements. If we were unable to re-book again he said he without hesitation he would give us a full refund. Brilliant customer service, thank you Barry and Jo. Best wishes to the HGFC team.
We were due to stay for Easter 2020 but due to coronavirus this had to be cancelled. We then transferred to the beginning of May and although travel is permitted, we had booked as three families together which is against government guidelines. Barry very kindly offered to again transfer our booking to another date that would suit or offered a full refund. This is such a relief in these difficult times and we thank you Haddon Grove. It’s such a shame that we can’t visit these stunning properties but hopefully we can visit once it is safe to do so again.
