Jo greeted us as we pulled up and made us very welcome. The setting is delightful , overlooking the Waimea Inlet. Jo was very helpful in discussing options to discover the local area and once we had chosen what we wanted to do , Jo made the bookings. The bedroom was large and well equipped with a jacuzzi bath. This was one of the best B&B's we stayed at during our recent visit to NZ - the new hosts were very friendly and helpful in planing our 3 day stay. Breakfast was better than you could get in a 5 star hotel. We would absolutely recommend this B&B if you are going to be in the Nelson area. The... More

This is the most wonderful B&B, perfectly situated for Abel Tasman National Park, but within reach of Nelson too. Fantastic views from the lovely rooms; cordon bleu breakfasts and very attentive hosts. Such a lovely memory for us both.

An amazing B&B, great location, great rooms with amazing attention to detail, breakfast superb. Friendly host, willing to sort out excursion bookings, give suggestions of what to do. All four of us loved it. Highly recommended - BUT - the B&B relies on a fantastic hostess who knows when to be there and when not to be there. The business... More

A simply perfect Christmas. The food (included in package) was exceptional and the treats (after noon tea cake & biscuits) in room were delightful. Gill was a fantastic hostess and we felt as though we were honored family guests. There are not words adequately to describe how wonderful this B&B is and the new owners will have a very hard... Our second visit and once again Gill made us especially welcome. Our accommodation, the Alexander Suite, was very spacious and very well appointed, and the breakfasts and treats more than ample. It is in a beautiful setting and the comfort and attention to detail are excellent. Unfortunately the present owners will be moving on next month and the new owners... More

To be treated like royalty and made to feel as welcome as any favourite relative might wish for you to feel, characterizes the caring and detail that is provided by Gill and Ian.....the accommodations are meticulously clean and splendidly adorned.......comfortable but not overwhelming. The food and "treats" are provided with love and are of the best quality. We cannot recommend... More

This was booked as a birthday surprise for me whilst myself and my partner were travelling for 7 months. What a luxury this was! The owner, Gill, could not have been more helpful or friendly. When we arrived there was a blackboard in the kitchen with our names on welcoming us, which also contained other personalised messages throughout our stay.... More

Another brilliant location during our month-long sojourn in NZ; Gill and Ian looked after us very nicely in their beautiful, elegant home and couldn't do enough for us during our 3 days with them. They're well-placed to visit the Abel Tasman National Park and Nelson, with the small town of Mapua just down the road with one or two good... More
