I read the reviews and thought it can't possibly be that bad. I thought "It's not like I'm going to spend any time there, I'll only be there to sleep", "for every bad review there's likely to be 10 good ones". On arrival I was allocated a room that had an en-suite without a

I visited on 3/11/18 from Darlington, a 3 hour drive. I came to see a show with my mum and daughter at the Regent Theatre. We left it quite late to book a hotel and this was one of the only ones left with availability on the day we required. It cost us £37 for the 3 of us, which

Shocking hotel. Had originally been booked into the Crown Hotel at Stone, this booking had been messed up and the room that we had booked was not available. After a long day and travelling 3+ hours to get there this is not what one wanted. Then offered a room for the night at

Be very careful with this car park and the hotel in general. Make sure you register the correct details or you will be fined by a private company. The hotel is the worst that I have stayed at in my life and I stay in plenty of hotels - you have been warned!!

Has anyone ever had their refund from this hotel?
now up to 82 bad reviews, the "new management" are still following the orders of the "old" owner, so expect standards to be just as bad despite claims they are making improvements..

i agree totally this hotel will only get more terrible reviews .I am sure this place is falsely advertising. The photo's they have look good, but the reality is way different. You might argue you get what you pay for ( we paid £28 for a double room), and yes to a point that's right buy cheap get cheap. BUT no matter how much you pay you have the right to expect things to be of a decent standard, and to be at least clean and to work and be fit for purpose. We are in the U.K not some 3rd world country where hotel standards like this might be "normal"
