From the check-in to the check out the service is effortless. The sea facing view from the hotel rooms (huge by hotel standards) are awesome with views of Table mountain and Robben Island. The rooms also boast a fully catered kitchen, large living areas, en-suite bathrooms and a large bedroom. The beach is 'an extension' of the hotel. The in-house restaurant... More

Beautifully appointed hotel with stunning views to Table mountain across the bay. We took one of the appartments which suited us travelling as a family of seven. Clean modern bathroom well stocked with toileteries and fluffy white towels which were useful given the location adjacent to the beach. Only a two minute stroll onto the powdery white sand and dunes... More

We stayed in dolphin beach hotel for almost 7 days and totally fell in love with the house, the setup, the view of table mountain, the garden, the beach access. The owner of the house Mr Paul was extremely professional and so was the manager Mrs Munik. She gave us a very warm welcome and explained details about the house... More

Even though Dolphin beach hotel is right on the beach with absolutely amazing views of Table mountain and the ocean I was disappointed with the state of the hotel. They don't deserve their 3 star rating and desperately need a revamp. Our toilet cistern took way too long to fill up, no toilet brush was provided and the bathroom bin... More

I was looking for a location to spend few days with good views of Cape Town and the Table Mountain rather than staying in the city centre, and Dolphin Beach Hotel did not disappoint at all. It was a perfect location to watch the setting sun and see the early morning sunlight hitting the Table Mountain. The apartment was clean... More

We enjoyed our stay in the sea facing apartment. While the bathroom was a bit dated, it was clean and quite spacious. Heating throughout the place. Furniture was very comfortable. Lots of place to store clothing and luggage. Views from deck lounge and room were amazing. Restaurant was great - specially the buffet breakfast each day Just a bit nosy... More

When we checked in I asked if they could upgrade us to a sea facing apartment if they had 1available.I was told I would need to pay the difference in price for that (even though all the sea facing rooms were avail). Hi Fawzia Many thanks for taking the time to send us feedback. The accommodation is fairly okay. Restaurant standards are also fair. The sea-food is a bit pricy but top notch. The staff are quite friendly and are always ready to assist. We hunted for accommodation in the Blouberg strand area and used the 4-star rating and Trip Advisor ratings as our guidelines for booking at the hotel. The setting is superb, but the hotel itself is in bad need of a makeover. Rooms are dated and furnishings have seen better days. Service at the restaurant was not up to standard but... More
