El Ventos is a cozy charming getaway inn with a beautiful location and fabulous food. It's remote but was perfect for our walking/hiking vacation. the staff went out of their way to make our visit comfortable and fun. Our room (#2) had a magnificent view to take in the sunset.

This would be without doubt one of the finds of a lifetime, not cheap but what an experience. Nestled within the volcanoes of the Spanish Pyrenees this place is a gem. Beautifully appointed and with outstanding staff who just want to help it's a place to relax and explore all at the same time. It's a bit off the beaten... More

The environent is superb and the building is an amazing catalan traditional structure perfectly restored. The common rest room is the best i have seen in a hotel so far wih one of the best balconies I have ever been to. that said i have to complain about the qualification of the place. In the door it says that it... More

This place is remote, but very unique and personal. Only 10 rooms, and we had 2 on the first floor for our family of 5, and we could close off the hallway for those 2 rooms, and had outside access right there. Cats, dogs, donkeys were fun for the kids. trails right from the hotel to explore the area. Gorgeous... More

This is a great hotel, with 10 rooms, great food, beautiful setting, and a nice place to hike. Plus they have an awesome St. Bernard and many great friendly cats! It's quiet and a wonderful place to do a hike, soak, nap, then eat a wonderful meal.

It is not easy to get to this hotel. We were glad to have had a driver from Country Walkers take us there from the Girona train station. The property is remote and picturesque. If you want nightlife, shopping, and traffic, this is not the place for you. But, if you want to hike the challenging trails in the park,... More

My daughter and I were doing a walking tour and were taken to this secluded hotel 7+ kilometers up a narrow road in the Garrotxa National park. There are several trails that can be accessed right from the hotel. The first day we did a loop in the area and did not see a single other person; we saw only... More

We spent two nights here, to get away from it all and enjoy some down time. Perfect location; the only downside is you might not want to leave, due to the relaxing atmosphere, good food, and the 8 km long driveway. Staff/owners were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. The hotel has only 10 rooms, so it's nice... More

We picked this hotel because it was in a convenient location on our sojourn back to the Barcelona Airport. It was the best hotel we visited during our entire two week stay. Set deep in the National Park this hotel was in the most fantastic location and is in a beautifully improved old building. We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and our room was lovely and had the most fantastic terrace with views looking out over the mountains. The walks from the hotel were lovely and the hotel arranged... More
