The dinner was a great experience with tasty food and good service. Therefore, we expected an exceptional breakfast experience. Sadly, this was not the case. There was nothing basically wrong, but it was just average. There was no tomato juice and the fruit selection was decidedly limited. The coffee was served with cold milk in a "jug" with no lip....

We love this hotel, the rooms are comfortable and large, however the bathroom does lack light for ladies trying to apply makeup! We had dinner in the restaurant in the evening this was lovely food as always very well presented and tasted wonderful. Would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Just a one night stay. Very large room with a large bathroom that had both a walk in shower and a nice large bath. Good free wifi. Staff in the bar/restaurant were very helpful and the bar are is very nice. Good rate and one of the most spacious rooms I have had in a while.

I suspect this is a wedding hotel. Situation is lovely & very quiet. I found the staff pleasant & polite. Room was warm. Wooden bedroom furniture looking worse for wear, and I did not like the wooden bed. It was hard & kept banging my leg on the edges. The lack of electric sockets is strange in what must be...

I can not speak highly enough about the staff at this hotel, without exception they were professional, pleasant, helpful and attentive and I especially wish to thank Karen for her help and understanding when I had to cancel out earlier planned visit due to my wife's sudden illness. The food also was excellent and imaginative. There is quite a small...

We stayed just the one night on an Internet deal DB&B upgraded room and glass of prosecco. The staff we very welcoming and accommodating. The room was a bit disappointing as the decor was less appealing than a travelodge! The view from the room was lovely and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was very nice and plush with...

A hot-stone full body massage, followed by afternoon tea served in the Red Lion Bistro; washed down with a glass of prosecco in front of a roaring fire. Excellent staff, exquisite surroundings and delicious food. Can't fault the experience. A perfect way to spend a damp Autumnal October afternoon.
