I have stayed at Sirdal Mountain Lodge two times in 2016, and I must say the place is something else. Beautiful surrounded by nature and mountains, easy access to Kjerag and to downhill slopes as well as cross country tracks. The hotel has wonderful food, a cool bar, pool, steambath, a fire house outside, and the neares neighbour is a...

We just spent 2 nights at this hotel but found the room very disappointing even though it was quite large. The furniture was cheap , the bathroom very small and nothing except soap and a hair dryer. No shampoo no creams , cheap old towels and a shower that went all over the floor after use. No floor mat in...

The first advantage of the hotel is its location: a lot of hikes starts from here in the summer and in the winter you are just a few meters away from ski slopes. The location is really lovely and the proximity of the 9 holes golf is highly appreciated. The golf is a good place to enjoy the view in...

Friendly staff, clean room. Food OK. There was a problem contacting the front desk during checkin. No bell or anything in the reception. Had to ring them! Very late breakfast (eight o clock). Very quite surroundings. No manmade noise at all. And the tap water tastes extremely good. TV could be better; ruined NRK1. Main customers has to be tourists....

In summer a ski hotel is seldom full. It is also a lot less expensive. This one was around $200 a night. Room was large, quiet and clean. Having a warm indoor swimming pool was an additional delight far up on this cool mountainside. Breakfast was excellent with eggs and the great Norwegian breads along with the other usual stuff....

We are on a UK - Norway motorbike trip and found this hotel via an internet booking site. Our day had taken us through some amazing roads and scenery so it was finished off very nicely when we turned up here! The position is great and we had the added benefit of being one of only two couples staying the...

The hotel is well located, in a quiet area. Bedrooms are nice, rather big. The beds are comfortable. 2 negative issues with the room : the main light switch did not function when I arrived, and only public TV channels are available on the small TV in the bedroom. No BBC, CNN, Nat Geo and so on... Lunch was quite...

We came across this hotel by accident on route to Lysebotn - we stopped to have some lunch which was delicious. The following day having hiked all day to Kjeragbolten and feeling pretty exhausted, we needed a place to stay and chose this hotel; we were not disappointed. We had a delicious dinner with wine and the service was excellent...
