The Wine Hotel would have to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at - a real surprise for accommodation nestled in the small village of Poggiridenti, 20 minutes drive from the Swiss border. Barrels of apples welcome you as you enter the hotel's front doors to be further welcomed by friendly, efficient staff who want nothing more... More

Up on the hills of the Grumello vineyards overlooking the Valtellina valley and the castello di Grumello this is an absolutely outstanding place to relax and enjoy the excellent food and wines of the area. From the street it looks quite unimpressive but the rooms open towards the valley 3 levels down with a spa at the lowest level. All... More

Amazing location, fantastic staff and very good facilities. I specifically booked this hotel for the sauna/spa facilities but due to being a bit late we were told that we couldn't use it as after hours as you have to book it and then pay 40 euros. We were also charged 30 euros for our small child who slept with us... More

The hotel is an absolute delight and shouldn't be missed if your in the area. High standards, clean rooms, wonderful staff, and beautiful views of the valley below. You are sure to enjoy this spot. Be sure to enjoy the wonderful breakfast in the morning, fresh baked goods.

This hotel is a real jewel. This is our last day here, but if I had known while planning our trip that it was going to be this nice I would have stayed longer. The attention to detail has been exceptional, the attentiveness and friendliness of each and every staff member nothing short of amazing. The breakfast is extraordinary, and... More

We were so surprised by this rather "off the tourist trail" hotel. Only 4 years old, the small hotel makes up being out of town by having wonderfully friendly and attentive staff and well designed rooms. We were shown two different rooms and chose one with a small balcony overlooking the valley and alps. The bedding was crisp and clean... More

Hugh up in the steep mountain side is a hidden pearl for all of you that appreciate a staff that are spoiling their guests with kindness and service. The hotel is new, moderne but with a homy touch that make you relax. Sure, if we are passing by this is the place where we will stay.

I was very impressed by this hotel, it is located high up in the mountains with stunning views of the Alps and towns below. The hotel is very modern and finished to a very high standard with very luxurious rooms. I was very impressed with the staff, they were very chatty, kind, helpful and made you feel so welcome. We...
