I do hope that this review will not earn a stinging response from Carla Brooks simply because I have the audacity to provide a review on a hotel that is not exactly all that it is made out to be and relies on a fair degree of poetic licence in both its printed and on-line descriptions. I would like to...

The approach was impressive ,this hotel has a magnificent setting - overlooking the glorious Herefordshire country side We had a 4 poster room in the main house - which was well equipped, clean & quiet , it overlooked the gardens to the rear of the hotel , and as such did not enjoy the view mentioned above, but not really all...

We stayed in one of the newly renovated horse boxes and it was perfect! Small but beautifully formed! We ate in the hotel which was reasonably good but the setting really is gorgeous and worth a visit

Arrived at the hotel and were told the room that was planned for us had a leak and we would be in the courtyard. this was not a private room and you would need to close the curtains for some privacy which was a shame on a lovely sunny day. We were shown to another courtyard room but it it...

Thank you for your review glad you liked the hotel décor and views sorry you did not like our staff they try hard but I understand you felt they were not giving you the customer service experience you expected . The " unpleasant chap " you mention is the manager so offering you a complimentary drink was our way of...

This is a mixed review as on arrival to brooks country house we were met with two lovely people at reception. The lady and the gentlemen checked us in smoothly, were very accommodating and the woman we were speaking to was kind to suggest a lovely walk for us to take our dog on. This and the guy who showed...

A lovely weekend away with the OH (without the children!!) led us to Brooks Country House. The website sold us stylish setting, decor and service and the real thing did not disappoint. As it was the OH's birthday, we took advantage of their deal for a bottle of Prosecco. We also went for the Dinner B&B package, which worked out...

Myself and my partner plus our dog wanted a night away whilst visiting family, we found this gem of a hotel which is part of a group of family owned 4 hotels. We stayed in a courtyard room as we had the pooch with us but next time would love to stay in the main house. The interiors are quirky...

Went on a Groupon deal, so value was always likely to be good. Everybody was friendly, and efficient. The room was of good size and the bed was comfortable, but it was far too cold for a winter stay. Facilities and amenities were good too. Breakfast was very nice and hearty. Parking was easy. Would stay there again, but not...

We booked late through Groupon, but contacted the hotel direct as it was last minute and they were very accommodating ! The room (I would call a suite with a four poster bed, leather chesterfield and two sumptuous armchairs ) we had room No. 4 with fabulous views over the open countryside, this hotel is on the up.. they are...

Fantastic setting. Beautiful property tastefully refurbished. Great people - everybody polite and helpful. Housekeeping was super. Had a fantastic meal on the Saturday Evening. But ---: Buffet table very meagre - Had expected pastries, good selection of good breads and croissants not to be found unfortunately - Muffins when available were good. Now to the crunch or the absence of...
