My wife and I had a 3 day break here last year(2013) The hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful.....nothing was too much trouble for them Welcome afternoon tea on arrival Beautifully furnished room..very relaxing atmosphere Excellent breakfast...full English and other choices Car park on site Quiet rural location on edge of village Good location for touring /walking...

After 3 weeks on road in Britain, I think Norton House was our favourite stop - I only wish it had been longer. For those who enjoy living in a bit of history, this house is for you. we were looking for somewhere to stay for a special weekend, and where we could take the dog. the room was wonderful, our hosts, Bill and Jayne, were really helpful and informative. the house was truly historic and full of character. the location was excellent and the house was really easy to find. the breakfasts were excellent, tasty and filling....

We arrived at Jayne and Bill's lovely home to be offered the most wonderful home made lemon drizzle cake and a nice pot of tea, our room was so comfortable light and airy and all the extras that were provided there for your convenience even down to cotton wool balls and a sewing kit! Bill and Jayne are both extremely friendly and have a deep knowledge of the area. Room was spacious, light and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was at treat every morning. Homemade jam was awesome! Would book here again and recommend without hesitation.

Stayed here for a week and we were thoroughly spoiled. Lovely house, conveniently placed with comfortable rooms and wonderful breakfasts prepared by Bill - not forgetting the lovely home made cakes always available at tea time.! Jayne and Bill very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable about the area which is well worth a visit. Lots of super places to eat...

I took a detour from the Offa's Dyke walking trail to visit Whitchurch for personal reasons. The hosts, Jayne and Bill, were exremely friendly. They went above and beyond the 'call of duty' to assist with family history enquiries. They took me on a local ramble and showed me some sights. I can't imagine they would be able to do...
