A great welcome from Jayne on our arrival which was accompanied with the best chocolate brownies I have ever tasted. The room was excellent with a comfy bed and a good nights sleep guaranteed.Breakfast was superb with an interesting choice and some home made preserves. A very friendly and welcoming place to stay. Lovely cake on arrival, very comfy beds and a great breakfast. Advice on where to go to enjoy the area and to eat out at night. As we only had a one night stop over you cant ask for more than that!

Norton House is one of the best cottages we have stayed in. We rented the Cider Loft for five nights. A welcome pack of fresh bread, milk, eggs, bacon, sausage and cake awaited us. We had a much too short two night stay in Norton house and loved it from the moment we arrived. Welcomed with coffee and cake and shown our beautiful bedroom with comfortable 4 poster bed , coffee and tea facilities and essential in the bathroom we felt like at home. It is over 40 years since I last visited the Wye valley. I obtained the details of Norton House from the web for the four of us who were visiting. We could not have made a better choice. What a lovely hello, tea and homemade chocolate sponge on arrival, yummy! Room was lovely with plenty of space for our small patterdale terrier. Beds in the Ross were extremely comfortable and the bath was one of the longest we've seen. Bill & Jayne were very friendly and gave us lots of tips on things to do & see. Breakfasts...

Bill & Jayne treated us like 5 star guests in their lovely B&B - the breakfasts were excellent (Bill you are an excellent chef) and cooked on an aga. Rooms very clean and very well presented. We stayed two nights and the rooms were made up very well on both occasions Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of things to eat. The owners were most helpful without being intrusive.
