We had a lovely winter weekend away at Cedar Creek cottages. The fireplace was all ready to go when we arrived and it was very nice to have some brekky supplies waiting for us in the fridge the next day. It was a bit more 'rustic' that I had expected- spa bath didn't seem to work, but as for a...

Thank you Fred for all the help you gave us during our two day stay with you. The cottage was lovely with dear and kangaroos around it. The breakfast hamper was very generous, we also enjoyed the port that was left for us. Great cottage with lovely outlook. thank you

We arrived here with high hopes. We were greeted by a surly woman who shoved a key at us and pointed us in the direction of our cottage. At first glance it all looked quite cosy and it has obviously been carefully replicated. Let me give you a list of problems. The pans were so dirty we had to wash...

First time staying and was impressed. Very friendly owners who accommodated our last minute booking. Loved the breakfast hamper, fireplace, late checkout and gorgeous location even in winter. Plenty of Stonehurst wine available in the mini bar as well.

I recently stayed at Cedar Creek Cottages for 2 nights with my husband & 2 young boys for a family wedding. We loved everything about the accommodation & surrounding vineyard. My two boys thoroughly enjoyed roaming the countryside, patting the horses, getting up close to the cows & especially toasting marshmallows in the woodfire bbq. Our extended family stayed in...

My wife and I booked a trip around a few wineries on a Saturday with our daughter and her partner, to arrive on Friday night after work and to leave on the Sunday morning. They had used the same cottage on a previous trip and promised that we would be impressed with the experience. They were totally correct. It started...

My 2nd time staying at Cedar Creek and my 2nd time loving every minute of it. The cottages are warm and welcoming. While a short drive is necessary to reach the centre of Hunter Valley, it's well worth staying there as it's such a great escape from the commercialism of Pokolbin. Highly recommend. Also - try their wine!

This is the third time I've stay at Cedar Creek. A fantastic weekend: relaxing and cosy in the beautiful Wollombi Valley. The views are incredible. The wildlife and farm animals add that special touch. And the wines... what can you say!? I've been to many cellar doors in HV but Stonehurst's Chambourcin wins every time. The weekend we were there...

This is the 9th time that my wife and I have stayed at the cottages. Unlike a lot of people who use the cottages as a base to go round the many vineyards in the Hunter Valley, we usually just stay put and relax for 3-4 days. The cottages are comfortable and, although the kitchenette is basic, it is adequate...
