There is a massive landslide that closed CA 1 between LA and Glen Oaks Big Sur. It is supposed to reopen late summer. That is not a firm date. We went to Glen Oaks from Los Angeles in September 2017 and did have to take... More

The one we stayed it was the most secluded and had an amazing view of the river. Red Wood Cabin: River View Suite.
