We stayed at Stavris Hotel for 3 nights. Room prices very reasonable, and staff helpful especially re online booking and accommodating our requirements. Rooms clean and airy, with balcony overlooking the sea. Not a well equipped kitchenette - just 2 rings - and a few pans, but had decent fridge. Beds comfy. We didn't sample the breakfasts (which were included)...

Great views of the ocean from the balcony. Rooms are basic but very clean. For the price (35 euro) a night, you cannot really complain. Bathroom is very small, beds okay, wifi in the room, slow at times. Parking is just below the hotel. The hotel serves a basic breakfast which is a little cheaper than the cafes at the...

Owner "welcomed" us without any smile, just opened the room door and left. No information at all, even on breakfast. Room was tiny, bed weren't prepared (linen to put yourself on the bed), old bathroom with some wood moisture due to too short shower curtain (flood after having shower) and noisy leaking toilet. Do not expect intimacy, you can hear...

Nice place, good view. No too much people. Difficult road through the mountains. Boring town. Nothing to do. Only beach. It often happens that a strong wind blows. You can visit the nearby town Chora Sfakion and the Imbros gorge.

We travelled around the West of Crete and was recommended to come to Sfakia by a Creten. We arrived in the afternoon and this was the first hotel we looked at. Our room overlooked the harbour and the mountainous coastline........stunning. The room was €35 and was fantastic value, clean, nice bathroom (the best we'd had on our trip) and as...

This is a small family hotel. Not fancy but right on the shore with beautiful views and good food. The service is excellent and great hiking in the area. This is a quiet place not a party place but a good place to get the ferry or just hang around and relax. Very beautiful and would recommend. The pice is...

Basic room: no TV, simple bed, but otherwise the room is big enough with a sea facing large balcony and clean bathroom. Location is very close to all that you need: beach, minimarket, tavernas. Excellent wifi

The apartment was confortable: the furniture was not very new but essential. There was also a little balcony in front of the beach and the sea: very relaxing! Near you can also find supermarkets, restourants and all you need to spend 2/3 days in peace!

The place itself is decent. However, terribly grumpy owner might spoil your stay. When called upon to fix the wifi, declared that we were wasting his time. No toilette paper in the bathroom, and the water was barely warm for shower.
