We stayed here whilst working at the great british food festival. Was really surprised how nice the hotel was for the price. Very clean, good size rooms and very comfy beds. Good size tv's on the wall. It's great how they are situated in a separate building, it felt more like your own apartment. I would definitely stay here again

Average hotel . Nothing spectacular but nothing to complain about apart from the huge car boot next door cars and families of people walking around for 6 hours . Other than that no complaints really . Not sure if return though

as other reviewers have said, don't be put off by the frontage of this odd looking hotel. Inside it is clean, stylish, warm and the food is excellent. Had the best cajun salmon I have ever tasted. Our room was smaller than we had liked but comfortable, well equipped and lots of sockets!

I have had a working lunch and a "passing coffee" at Twin Oaks on a few occasions. Meals are very good and it is so convenient and quiet for working lunches and meetings. Really good to get off the motorway and away from motorway services Only used the restaurant facility

Great hotel conveniently situated near major routes yet surrounded by countryside. Easy striking distance of Bolsover Castle,Hardwick Hall, Chatsworth House and other places of interest. Our double room was quiet and comfortable and well serviced and had a very private balcony with table and chairs, looking out over a field and woods. This is the only hotel room I've ever...

Very conveniently situated just off the M1 and within a few miles of both Hardwick Hall and Bolsover Castle, and with ample on-site parking room. The staff were very pleasant and friendly, and the free Wi-Fi stayed connected, unlike the Wi-Fi in most hotels which goes off after 10 minutes or so! The room was fine. The restaurant and bar...

We stayed at this hotel over the Easter weekend for my mum's birthday. We had visited Chatsworth House during the day and the hotel was approximately 25-30 minutes drive away. We were a large party of 14 so were a lot to accommodate. The staff however were absolutely fantastic. Right from the time of booking, the staff were on hand...

The hotel is very easy to find, and on first entering, it looks in a bit of a state, it looks like an American motel. I was a bit apprehensive before I walked in, the receptionist could not have been friendlier, I was later than I hoped and she said that they only did cold food for room service, although...

Stayed just one night as a base before visiting Hardwick Hall. Very clean and tiny, comfortable room and very helpful and polite staff. Very easy to find. Didn't eat as had a wedding reception in full flow as we checked in, we were pre warned it would be noisy but this was no distraction to our night away as made...
