We stayed in the family room, 2 ad 2 kids, 2 bedrooms each with their own TV, even a storage room beside the bathroom. Spotless, warm, cosy, fab breakfast cooked by 2 lovely ladies. Lovely young girl Keelin at check in. There was a common tv room with fit lit both eves we stayed. Super service from the jugs of water and wine glasses 4d room to check out. Very highly recommend.
We were staycationing in Donegal and decided to visit Slieve League as we had never been before. We booked a family room for 5(our daughter & 2 grandsons were with us). We got a pleasant surprise on arrival to find that the room was actually split into two rooms which really suited us. Kenneth was a great host, very friendly and welcoming, the whole place is so clean and breakfast was delicious (especially the sausages)with lovely friendly unfortunately for us the Rusty Mackerel down the road had not reopened yet, so it means we have to return!
Kenneth is excellent host! The common areas were spotlessly clean, well maintained, and overall warm and welcoming, featuring a cozy sitting area with a fireplace. Our group stayed in three different rooms. All were clean and comfortable and warm. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. Outstanding location near the cliffs. We are looking forward to visiting here again and hope to stay longer in this beautiful area.
Arrived late in the evening with the plan to see Slieve League the next morning. Anyone who can fit in the time should stay for 2 nights as I think there's some lovely views and walks along the cliff. The B&B is nice and a short walk to the local pub which is friendly and serves nice food. Our room was upstairs, bed was comfortable and I have no complaints whatsoever!
We stayed for 1 night in this B&B, mainly because of its proximity to Slieve League. We arrived quite late and were worried about getting food in the area but the host, who was brilliant, offered to drop us down to the local pub restaurant, the Rusty Mackerel, to save us a drive (and we would be dropped back later). The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the people serving it were very friendly too. Only small thing was that bathroom smelt a little off, but that was because we were there on the first night it reopened so it hadn't been used in a while which is perfectly understandable. Will definitely return when we are back in the area.
