My husband and I stayed at The Falls Inn for a one night getaway. This is our second time staying and both times were wonderful. The location is very picturesque right next to the falls with hiking trails nearby. The staff on arrival and checkout were friendly and went out of their way to assist us. We also had a lovely dinner, the food was awesome and great service too. If anyone is looking for a quiet relaxing night away you will not be disappointed by visiting.
3 of us took my 85 year old mother to celebrate her birthday. Given that Covid was a big deal I was worried about how it would be. I need not have worried. It was wonderful. The people were friendly and amazing. The rooms beautiful and very clean and the restaurant, the food, were so good and beautifully presented. There is a good 4K hike on the Bruce trail literally right out the back door. It is a short but probably intermediate hike. I wish I had my hiking boots because there are many moss covered rocks on the steep trail. All that being said, I did it in my running shoes and was fine. It was a wonderful couple of days. I could have stayed longer.
Stayed 2 nights and this place is well managed and COVID conscious which we appreciated. Good proto calls in place. Food was excellent especially the lamb. We felt very good value. Staff well trained and service oriented. We have been several times before over the last 10 years and will be back again.
This was our 5th summer weekend at The Falls Inn. First lets start off by saying that we felt very safe with the new Covid Protocols. Meg, Jane and the rest of the staff were outstanding as usual. Second - LOCATION - This place is a hidden gem - it is literally located beside a beautiful waterfall and hiking trail. You are in between Owen Sound and the Blue Mountains. Third - THE FOOD. They have their own chef and restaurant that you actually want to stay and eat for all your meals. The menu is incredible, and you get to eat the fantastic food while viewing the waterfall. Fourth - the ROOM - it is clean and comfortable and again, has a small balcony overlooking the falls. Looking forward to our 6th stay next summer.
Saw this listing while browsing and decided to book a room for just one night as we are cautious due to Covid 19. The hotel sent us a list of their procedures under this ugl y virus. It was very stringent. We book for one night and arrived around 4:00 pm. You wear your mask while in the hotel common area and spacing was not a problem. Our room was very good with just minor issues with one light out in the bathroom and a toilet seat that could be better secured. Everything was extremely clean and the beds were wonderful. We had dinner on the patio and once again weather your seating in our out in the dining room you wear your masks until you ate seated and you take your masks off until you are ready juto leave. Everything g on the evening menu was priced very reasonable and my wife had the fish & chips and I had a Waldorf salad with steak. Both were excellent and priced around $16. each. Drinks were $12. ( cocktails, wine verse priced the same what a bargain. For breakfast I had Eggs Benedict and my wife had the country breakfast. Both priced at $12. We will be back.…
