We found The Manila Game Lodge very exciting and authentic. The rangers seemed very well skilled and helpful. We succeeded in finding 4 out of the 5 big, - in a very respectful way towards the animals, e.g. The lodge didn't accept more than two vehicles near the animals at any time. So we were pleased. And back at the...

My wife and i had an unforgettable experience with you, and want to especially thank your amazing game ranger JP O'Connell, your fine chef, and 'Moses'....all of whom really made our vacation with you truly special ! (I would suggest BETTER LIGHTING outdoors, on walk to the rooms, which would help all your guests.)

We came to see wild life and we saw wild life. Thanks to an experienced game ranger (George) who went out of his way to show and explain wild life to me (south african resident) and my overseas visitors who were speechless. This was my 3rd visit I will be back. Hopefully soon.

Mabula is just far enough outside Jhb to feel like a proper breakaway from home & city life, but also only 2 hours drive so no hours spent on the road getting to your destination. The conference facilities are great & a productive time was spent strategising in the bush, but a little better effort could be made on the...

Comfortable stay, Great food, exotic location and amazing safari experience. The staff was friendly and courteous. Would like to see more Cheetahs and Leopards added to reserve. I highly recommend this place for a first time South Africa explorer.

The most convenient lodge to see game from Johannesburg. Roads are very good to get there, so you can make it in a couple of hours. The lodge is rather big so not the most intimate, but all seems to function well. The big family rooms are spacious. Food is OK, nothing spectacular. The staff are nice and the rangers...

We were a family of 5 visiting the game reserve for 3 night, it was a good experience. Our rooms were clean and neat. The rooms are at a distance of 7km away from the hotel reception. But it's a joyful drive. We missed the slot for horse ride and quad bike tour cause it was over booked. It is...

The lodge is well presented. The food is one main let down as it's always cold, the bar has no real variety, when we went for a quad bike ride it was over booked so others had to share a bike and we had to wait for petrol

My husband spoiled me for my Birthday in January. We went on Saturday afternoon and left again on Sunday because the lodge was full.
