We were in the area for our daughter's wedding and this beautiful, timeless, B&B was the perfect place to retreat after our busy days preparing for the big event. Craig and Gaynell are extraordinarily pleasant and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they ensured that all our needs were met with a smile. The whole house is immaculately presented,...

From start to finish, our stay was perfect. We called last minute and thankfully for us, they had a cancellation so my husband and I along with our 15 year old daughter were able to book both rooms. The innkeepers, Gaynel and Craig are gracious hosts. They are friendly, very knowledgeable of the history in the area, and were such...

You were the ideal guests, and your daughter is one of the sweetest teenagers we have met! We are looking forward to another visit! Many thanks, Gaynel at Barrett's

Stayed at Barretts Plantation B & B for a weekend. The hosts were gracious, the breakfast was wonderful and they were great with suggestions and travel times. Would definitely stay again. The home was gorgeous and I felt as though I had taken a step back in time. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Laurie and George from Maryland!

QUALITY = QUALITY Quality owners (Gaynel & Craig Schneeman) = Quality B&B (Barrett’s Bed & Breakfast) = Quality three course breakfast (fruit/fresh baked bread & scones/hot casseroles) = Quality visit. However all of this quality does not deserve a 5 star rating…it deserves a 10 star rating. There’s just something about quality, isn’t there? We shall return in September. Barbara...

The owners are two of the nicest and accommodating hosts that we have ever encountered. The house and our room were amazing and the added bonus of Gayle's knowledge of American history was a joy.
