My wife and I stayed at Fattoria Poggerino for two nights in September '15. We had the downstairs suite in the old but beautifully converted Monastery. Very Roomy and comfortable but no air conditioning. Breakfasts were a home made Tuscan delight and we were lucky to join the owners for a Tuscan Dinner on one of the nights we stayed.... More

We stayed at Fattoria Pogerino for 8 nights in September. We found the hosts, Benedetta Lanza and John Spratt, to be gracious and helpful. We were there with our family of 9, and got to stay in a separate quarter of the Inn, with our own entrance, sitting area and 5 rooms with private baths. The rooms were immaculate and... More

The owners were very accommodating and warm, we had a wonderful tour through they're vineyards and a wine tasting. Benadetta, our hostess is a incredible cook with a organic garden that she picks fresh herbs form. The Chianti region is so beautiful and the Chianti classico wine is superb! Wonderful region to visit!

Beautifull views, quite, clean and well equiped rooms, nice flowered terrasses, swimming pool with a view. Add on top of that the staff always available to help and the breakfasts and cooking of Benedetta, then it's easy to say that Fattoria Poggerino is heaven on earth.

The rooms are beautiful - rustic, the staff will go out of their way to help you arrange whatever you need, the breakfast - quality and range - is phenomenal (Benedetta is a fantastic chef - if you are there when she cooks a dinner for the guests, cancel all plans & attend!). The only 'down side' is that due... More

Our trip was in October and I still smile when I think about our stay. I don't think I could stay anywhere else in the Chianti region. The old church, which for some reason came as a surprise to me, has been converted to a simple B&B. I could have stayed there forever and thank everyone for making our visit... More

It's a simple b&b, but it offers much more than I could expect for the price. Besides, the staff helped us a lot with tips about the region, showed the winery to us and offered a wonderful dinner for the guests in one of the nights during our stay. Oh, and the breakfast is delicious!

This 800 year old church has been renovated into the most wonderful bed and breakfast! The rooms themselves are large and cozy while keeping the authentic Italian historical feel. The breakfast was amazing! Benedetta and her lovely assistant always prepared the most wonderful of fresh baked sweet and savoury dishes to choose from and even offered personalized breakfast selections. The... More

We stayed a full week in the little separate cottage at Fattoria Poggerino. The cottage is surprisingly roomy and has a little kitchen and separate back terrace - we found it quite charming and a little like something out of Hansel & Gretel. There was a fireplace that one could use and the wi-fi had a good connection. We opted... More

A lovely place to stay surrounded by breathtaking scenery. We stayed in room 1 and had really beautiful views. This is the ideal spot for exploring the many vineyards and picturesque towns in Chianti - once you master the steep, windy roads - and then relaxing with a glass of Poggerino wine watching the sun go down. The gardens are... More
