Cottages on the Cape is a must do if you are looking for a relaxing getaway to PEI. The owners are very warm and welcoming, the cottage we stayed at (Islander Cottage) was perfect for a couple looking to disconnect and recharge. The room was clean, comfortable and very well maintained. The location is perfect, about a 5 minute walk up the road from a beautiful beach as well a a bike/walking trail with stunning views of the coast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will make it a point to return in the very near future.

My husband has already reviewed this property but I wanted to put my two cents in also. Last year we rented the Lighthouse Cottage which has a spectacular view of the New London Rear Lighthouse and the Bay. This year we took the larger Cape Cottage with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and larger great room - kitchen, dining and sitting room. It is beautifully appointed with a jaccusi in one bathroom, a huge walk-in shower in the other. There are two dining areas on the decks - one just off the master bedroom which was great for breakfast.
Shannon and Erin, who have just taken over the property, are keeping the high standards of their predecessors and obviously love the property and the area. We have our booking in for next year and hopefully many years to come.

We have spent 2 Summers renting the cottages at this location. It is a beautiful spot. The Cottages are clean and have every amenities. The owners are attentive to details. The property and the cottages are very clean and tidy. It is also a very quiet spot where you can enjoy nature and the beach. You have good restaurants 5 min away. Easy shopping for groceries if you want to cook only 10 min away in Kensington. You can use this location for exploring Cavendish and Anne of great gables sites. Her actual family home and birthplace is just around the corner. We simply love this place and we highly recommend it. We already booked for next year.

My husband and I had a lovely vacation at Cottages on The Cape this past summer. The cottage was very clean and cozy and included everything we needed for our stay. Owners Erin and Shannon were so welcoming and helpful. The beach is literally a 3 min walk from the cottage. Every morning we'd grab a coffee and walk the beach or the trails by the cliffs taking in the incredible ocean view and air. We can't wait to visit the Island again and will definitely be booking Cottages on the Cape!

We have been vacationing on PEI for years and Cottages on the Cape is one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. The cottages are located on a quiet and stunning road, steps away from the most beautiful beach. The grounds are well kept and the cottages are well appointed, clean and feel like home. The owners, Erin and Shannon, have thought of everything to make your stay a pleasant and comfortable one. We have already rebooked for next year and can’t wait to return!

I feel I really lucked out finding this gem of a property. The cottages are a short walk to one of the nicest beaches and gorgeous cliffs. My pup and I were able to start every morning with a sunrise walk. The cottages are clean, well-maintained, and well-appointed. Erin and Shannon were friendly and helpful, going beyond what I expected in helping make my stay amazing. After spending two weeks exploring PEI, I can comfortably say Cottages on the Cape were among the best all round. I will definitely rent here again.

Cottages on the Cape is the perfect place for a relaxing and beautiful PEI vacation. The cottage is beautiful and close to an amazing beach, secluded but a close drive to anything you need. It's the best of both worlds of being by the beach and close to Cavendish where you can get ice cream and see museums. We had an amazing stay and will definitely be back!
