The advantages of this place have been described enough and they exist: location, swimming pool, bathhouse... everything is great.
But to get the full picture, I’ll share my personal experience. We had a wedding on September 8, 2023. Initially it was supposed to take place in Scandinavia. Our booking for our small holiday at the end of July was confirmed and we also booked rooms for two nights. Later, the administrator called us and said that, unfortunately, they were forced to cancel our event, because they had received an order for a banquet of 110 people. Accordingly, they cancel our holiday, but the room reservation with a late check-out can be kept (7-8.9. attic room 303, 8.-9.9 standard room 214). That's what we did. Fortunately, we found another place quickly enough and everything went at the highest level. When booking your celebration, I advise you to take into account this feature of customer service of this establishment. You may be “promoted” if a more profitable order appears.
The second point that spoiled the impression of the place was that we left some things in the room and they were not returned to us (we called the reception the day after check-out). Namely: expensive sunglasses (280€) and a swimsuit (not expensive). I am 100% sure that these things were left in the room. The glasses were most likely left in the robe pocket. Room cleaning is done exclusively by visiting staff.

Spa hotels in neighboring countries have become unavailable, and lately my family has been looking for something at least slightly reminiscent of them in the region. It would seem that complete disappointment overtook us, but then a ray of hope appeared in the form of “Scandinavia”. After a day of rest, there is a desire to return here, and this desire arises extremely rarely. A certain feeling of harmony comes when you swim in a great pool and around you see hotel buildings - restored dachas, walk around the area, in an area where coniferous trees are mixed with amazing houses. And silence all around. We have only one complaint about the "standard" room - it is very small. There’s no room for extra space, there’s no room to turn around in the shower stall. But everything is extremely clean, neat, there is no feeling of dilapidation or fatigue in the environment. The mattress and pillows are excellent, the linen is snow-white, the robes are so soft! The pool is large and warm, but the saunas do not correspond to the level of the establishment. Insufficient. On sold out days this will definitely be a problem. The hammam is very simple. No aromas, no lighting, the smell is unpleasant. Breakfast is very good. Definitely one of the best I've seen lately. As I wrote above, there is an absolute feeling that I am on vacation. Everything around is very comfortable (except for the sauna section). Well, it’s expensive, of course, very expensive. If a small but clean standard costs 14,000 ₽, which is no small amount, then the price for large rooms makes your hair stand out. Our income may not keep up with these prices.

My husband and I come every year in February to celebrate our wedding date) Always satisfied! I am grateful to all the employees: administrators, cooks, waiters, everyone who creates cleanliness and comfort in the rooms and bath complex, near the pool! Everything is always clean, beautiful, tasty! Despite different weather conditions, everything around the pool and jacuzzi is always cleared and cleaned. Thanks to all the staff for the atmosphere they create!

We were last there on 02/24/24 as a couple. We visit “Scandinavia” with the whole family and together for five years now twice a year - in late autumn we get rid of the blues, and in February-March we give ourselves a gift for the husband’s holidays - it’s very wonderful when there is snow all around and you climb into an open swimming pool, then run to the sauna, steam and drink hot sweet tea! I always advertise this hotel to everyone - the most wonderful short active vacation. You can choose rooms in different price categories, especially if you book in advance. You can have dinner in Sestroretsk itself or simply order delivery of pizza rolls, which is what we did, but now we have dinner at the hotel in the grill bar. Breakfast is above all praise - the red fish and champagne alone are worth it. All the employees are very friendly, last year I left a gold chain in the safe because... the safe was not conveniently located and it was simply not visible that she was left, but she remembered only the next day - she called and after the next guests left, the cleaning staff found her and handed her over to the reception - I then left a review of gratitude in the book of complaints and suggestions. The rooms are very warm, even too warm - we sleep with the windows open all the time, so we try to take a room away from the pool to make it quieter. Yes, there is quite a lot of audibility in the rooms, someone is celebrating something, and even in company, there are many guests with small children, babies, but it depends on your luck, we still come here not to sleep and relax in silence, but until 12 o’clock At night we spend active time, walk and even swim in the pool with the lights on - very beautiful.

I like it here, we went here last year too. If we compare it with the Soviet boarding houses on the bay, then this is one of the 2 normal places where you can come to relax.
From "+": • pleasant interiors, access to the bay and everything in the complex is very nice; • for those whose birthdays receive a compliment from the hotel - late check-out the next day at 16:00, 2 glasses of sparkling wine and 2 desserts of your choice; • room reservation includes breakfast, unlimited use of the sauna complex and swimming pool; • the food in the restaurant is delicious.
From "-": • there are uncomfortable mattresses near the beds, they seem to be new and beautiful, but it’s not clear what’s wrong with them, they don’t seem to support the body; • they put all shower accessories in the bathroom, except for a toothbrush and toothpaste, you have to ask for this separately at the reception 🤷🏼♀️ • the attic rooms are quite cool, extra. The radio worked for a bit and turned off; they couldn’t turn it on.

It was our first time in Scandinavia with a young man and we had very pleasant impressions. We'll definitely come back again. Swimming pool, saunas, jacuzzi, breakfast at the highest level! I was especially pleased with the low-salt salmon. Sweets and pastries are quite bland for my taste. Polite staff, the restaurant interior is gorgeous! The rooms have everything you need, slippers, towels, bathrobes, shower products. The only negative is that the light in the room was blinking, but this did not spoil the overall impression! We were left satisfied and rested! I will recommend Scandinavia to everyone I know!

The hotel overall left a good impression. There are, of course, their pros and cons. 1. Of course, the biggest plus of the hotel is the staff. The face of a hotel is the people who work there. And in my opinion, how your vacation will turn out depends only on them. A hotel can be beautiful, cozy, or vice versa, but only the people working in it will make your vacation wonderful or unbearable. The staff of the Scandinavia Hotel are professionals of the highest degree. Starting with girls at the reception, continuing with maids and ending with waiters in restaurants. 2. The hotel has a fantastic location: a quiet country forest on the shore Gulf of Finland. 3. Breakfast is varied, for every taste and even champagne for those who drink in the morning. 4. Outdoor swimming pool with heated water. To be honest, I don’t know whether this is a plus or a minus (the fact that he’s on the street), it’s probably up to anyone. The pool is cool, warm, but getting out of it into the cold air is not a pleasure. So, for me, perhaps, there is no pool. 5. The sauna is located in a separate building. And it turns out that you warm up, steam, and then along the street, through the hotel courtyard, you go to your room. And in winter, if you are not a walrus? Are you warming up in the shower again in your room? 6. The room is nice and even has a balcony, but it’s so tiny that you don’t go out onto the balcony, you just squeeze through, and if there are two people in the room, then one has to lie on the bed or press against the wall so that the second one can go somewhere. In general, the result is this: for me, this is a hotel without a pool, a sauna and very modest living conditions (I mean the room), but cozy and nice with wonderful nature around and I would undoubtedly come to relax for a couple of days many times a year, but the price for a room of 17 thousand is too much. I am for the price matching the services provided.

Very good impressions from the Shelepin dacha, where we lived. The interior is designed in the style of a dacha of the early 20th century, excellent conditions: two bathrooms, a living room, a bedroom with a bathroom. Everything is very beautiful, stylish and comfortable. It was especially unexpected and pleasant to see a fruit platter in the living room! There were separate towels and sheets for the bath. Excellent breakfast in the restaurant, 5 stars. The bath complex, although small, is quite sufficient - 2 hammams and 2 saunas. I also really liked the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, although it was -10 below zero. We will be happy to come again and recommend to friends.

The room is not bad, but I would say it’s a little cramped and not worth the money. Unfortunately, there is no air conditioning, even with a fan it was stuffy. We got an intestinal infection on the third day of our stay, as it turned out this is a common occurrence there. Overall, it’s a very beautiful, picturesque place, on the shore of the Gulf of Finland. It’s also very good that you can go there with pets, we took a cat, but on the first day of arrival he was very hot and he walked around with his tongue hanging out, photo below. The food in the restaurant is delicious, but again a little expensive

The second time at the Scandinavia country club, the first time we were unable to visit the bath complex and restaurant due to our own reasons, but the second time we felt relaxed. We had a good rest, liked the Russian steam room, hammam, restaurant, especially the desserts (they are all wonderful), the breakfasts were super. The linen in the room is snow-white, nice. We would like to note what the club administration needs to pay attention to: - there is a lot of hair in the pool, I don’t think you should be allowed to visit the pool without caps, make a remark to your clients or give them disposable caps; - the man drank alcohol in the bathhouse, we don’t think this is a good idea, especially when there are so many children and women nearby; - the bathhouse complex is poorly cleaned, the walls and doors need to be washed better and in general it’s time to update. In general, the bath complex needs some work, it has aged mentally) Your restaurant is simply wonderful and the staff is top notch! Bravo! Thanks to the cooks and waiters! Now we will come to you on the May holidays to celebrate the birthday of our mother (grandmother) 70 years old!
