Stayed overnight whilst on business in the area.Upon arrival was greeted by a cheerful warm welcome and showed to my double room situated in an annex to the rear of the main building. My room was well presented, clean and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was huge and had a nice tray of quality complimentary toiletries. The evening meal was delicious,beautifully... More

Arrived quite late but staff very helpful and happy to sort out a meal for me in the bar. Food very nice, service good, atmosphere fine. Room small but perfect for a one night stay, very clean, tidy and well presented. Breakfast also very pleasant. Would recommend.

A pleasant stay in a friendly small rural hotel. Its not your upmarket style but functional with mod cons in a nice environment. Our room was spacious , clean and tidy and had tea, coffee, fruit and bottled water , with biscuits being renewed daily. I believe we had a room for less mobile people as it had no bath... More

Have just spent a weekend away in the wilds of Norfolk with friends at the Marsham Arms and could not fail to give it a five rating. Are things perfect, well life seldom is, the inn is close to a "B" road but this should come as no surprise for those of you into history as an old coaching inn... More

We stayed as a couple in room 4 (dog friendly room) with Bella our dog. We did plan the trip with some friends who stayed in room 22, we stayed from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th September. Firstly the welcome was, in my opinion, how it should be done- Becky and Gemma did the owners proud. Rm 4 was clean... More

After a little wait the food was ready and we ate it at home. The menu hasn't majorly changed for years but the food we had was good quality and looked amazing, with very generous portions which is always a bonus. Quality pub styled food which I do recommend for an easy one to visit with a wide selection, however,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and were allocated room 8, which was large, clean, nicely furnished, lots of storage space, coffee making, fridge , large good quality and comfortable bed - even an umbrella was supplied. An enormous wet room, with large shower area and electronic shower controls which allowed me to get the shower to the right temperature without... More

I and my partner went to the restaurant to have a meal for our 5 year anniversary. We visited the place for the first time. For a start when I asked for a bottle of mineral water I have been given water in a glass with lemon and ice incide. I never asked for lemon or ice but I was... More

The food was excellent as always but they must have changed their wine supplier in the last year. The wine used to be excellent like the food but in last two weeks have tried 3 different wines with meals and they were poor.

Late lunch for two today - we loved it. Steak and blue cheese and port sauce with chips and chicken supreme - big tasty lovely portions. Delicious big dinners - plus you get a mint at the end with the coffee - no where gives you a mint with your coffee anymore. Have decided to come back when we have... More
