The countryside location is a lovely setting for an old pub. Due to its location there are a few locals , good bar select, and bar food and daily specials alongside a main restaurant. It is not a fine dining place but it is a good pub with friendly service and a willingness to assist where they can. We all...

Really good Sunday roasts on offer - lamb, beef and pork all enjoyed by our group...but the stand out dish was the caramel cheesecake with gin & tonic sorbet...superb. This is a super friendly but increasingly busy pub...great laid back atmosphere with super service in a beautiful part of Hampshire.

En route to a family event four of us booked into the Woolpack Inn for one night. This inn has been around since the 1800s, so lots of history in the old open beams that greet you as you step into the bar. Although not immediately obvious how you check into the rooms, once we found a staff member all...

We booked 3 rooms on their winter rate en route to a funeral. We had drinks at their lovely bar with a log fire and local colour! We had a good meal in the bar - a varied menu which we enjoyed bar one main course ( Lamb and 5 bean pie) Table service was prompt. Rooms are well designed...

We have just got back from spending the night at the Woolpack, I have to say I couldn't fault it. We received a warm welcome and were swiftly shown to a beautiful room (Snipe) the bath was amazing and just what was need after a 15 km walk. We ate dinner in the bar and were bowled over by the...

I turned up here with my son and no reservation at 2.30 on a Sunday lunchtime, and though it was very busy they found us a table and looked after us beautifully. Excellent food and service, and one one of Christopher Somerville's lovely walking routes (see his website for a free download.)

I used to live very near the Woolpack Inn and yet despite stopping for a meal once I've never stayed there. When we moved home I had still some business appointments back at our old place and so my wife and I went for an overnight stay and meal. I have to say we were very impressed overall. Service was...

We stayed for two nights taking advantage of the special winter deal. The pub was fairly quiet both very cold evenings (Tuesday and Wednesday) in early February. We had a lovely cosy table near the fire both evenings. Service was relaxed, attentive and friendly. The menu though not vast gave us enough good options to make choice difficult. Everything was...

We come and have a night away as often as possible. Living less than ten miles away, we come and re-charge our batteries here. The rooms are lovely and cosy, the food delicious and service outstanding. It is superb value for money. Also a lovely relaxing treat, to recover from a busy week. The breakfast is locally sourced and extremely...

Lunched on Sunday 15 January 2017 on a return visit having been so pleased with both the food and the service. Both are first class. also a very good menu for children. Plenty of car parking space to go with it. Perhaps the overall ambiance of the pub could do with some further work on it and it would probably...
